WoW TBC – Why You Should Play As The Druid

These are the reasons why the Druid is a great choice to play as in WoW TBC.

WoW TBC Druid

When playing WoW TBC, it is important to play as a class that is useful to you. Not only should it be useful, but you will need to have fun playing in that class as well. Whether your goals are to make as much WoW TBC gold as possible or get through The Burning Crusade power leveling process quickly. When it comes to the Druid, it does have many advantages of its own, which can make it a great choice to play as.

How Useful is The Druid in TBC?

There are different forms of Druids that you can play as in The Burning Crusade. For example, you could benefit from a Feral Tank Druid thanks to the highly effective health pool that they have. The way in which they mitigate and absorb damage is also a particular highlight.

If you're going with a more utility approach, then you could try the Balance Druid. With various abilities and TBC items, you can be a real asset to your group. The damage mitigation as with the Feral Tank is highly effective with a Balance Druid and is aided by the Improved Faerie Fire that adds more chance of you hitting a target with ranged or melee. You could also add more spell-critical chances for your party with the Moonkin Form.

Meanwhile, the Restoration Druid shines with the upgrades that it gets. They offer both Lifebloom and Tree of Life which come in handy for you and your group. The latter ability is able to buff the healing that you get, judged on 25% of the spirit that all members of your group has.

What Profession You Should Use

There are a number of forms of Druid that you can use each with its own positive aspects, but what about professions? After all, we want to ensure that we get the very best out of the class when playing like it. If you're going to do so, then there's a couple of choices to go with.

The first is Leatherworking, as many players may have guessed already. This can be very productive if you're going through TBC power leveling and want to make max-level gear that's best in the slot. Those players who are looking to make TBC gold, and want to avoid having to buy WoW TBC gold, should go ahead and combine this with Skinning. This profession will help you not only make extra WoW TBC gold, but will also get you the materials to accommodate Leatherworking.

You could also make good use of Engineering which will get you bombs. The Super Sapper Charge in particular is going to be handy to you. Then you have the TBC items and trinkets that you can get, such as the Dimensional Ripper – Area 52 which is a vital advantage with this profession. What's more, thanks to the introduction of TBC, we see the Zapthrottle Mote Extractor which will be used for harvesting motes, as well as working with Flying Machine and Turbo-Charged Flying Machine mounts that are exclusive to Engineering.

Druid Races

The professions aren't the only thing that will define your experience when playing as the Druid. The fact that Druids have the most variety when it comes to spells, and can offer your group plenty in the utility department, should all be taken into consideration when you are choosing your class. That said, you'll want to make sure that you pick the right race as well.

If you're an Alliance player,  then go with the Night Elf. This will give you access to Shadowmeld, which can give you the advantage in battle. Meanwhile, Horde players can go with the Tauren. This option will get you ahead of the game thanks to both Endurance and War Stomp. No matter whether you're playing PvE or PvP, this is going to be a difference-maker in either when used in the right circumstances.

As mentioned earlier, the class that you choose should be one that you find fun to be able to play as. It all depends on what your overall goal of the game is, and what you're looking to get out of WoW TBC. If you're looking to gather TBC Classic gold, then you can do so here with the right professions. If you want a wide variety of spells, then the Druid is for you. You could choose to bypass these needs if you were to buy WoW TBC accounts, but there is plenty to keep you occupied when playing as the Druid.

Have you played as the Druid in World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade? Let us know in the comments section below!

Beautiful Spots in World of Warcraft

Beautiful Spots in World of Warcraft

Somewhere you can stop and smell the (metaphorical) roses

Taking a break from farming feels so much better when you’re in a beautiful locale. Even embroiled in war, Azeroth still has pockets of these areas. It just goes to show that life still thrives even in a ravaged land. Some of these areas may not be accessible anymore, but that doesn’t mean they stopped being pretty. You don’t even have to buy WoW gold or anything just to admire the view.

Here are three beautiful places to relax in World of Warcraft.

Isle of Quel’Danas

Typically, any location where elves dwell ends up being eye candy. Silvermoon and the Eversong woods are also pretty, but Quel’Danas mixes the best of those locations into one. The island is home to the Sunwell, an artifact of power for the blood elves in Silvermoon.

The town, Sun’s Reach, is filled with the bright oranges of autumnal trees among the architectural marvels of the elves. It’s a look that fits its name, as the town is as light as sunlight. Even as you prepare for the raid on the Sunwell Plateau, it’s worth it to take a few minutes to admire the beautiful scenery of the isle.

Crystalsong Forest (and Dalaran)

As mentioned above, elves make locations prettier. They’re the cause of the Crystalsong Forest, a forest of purple crystallized trees that almost glow in the dark. Floating above it, at least during the war against the Lich King, the city of Dalaran hovers majestically.

Its purple spires coordinate with the forest below, making a pretty picture. Dalaran is a city of magi, not elves, though its architecture is also a thing to behold. Later, it moved to the Deadwind Pass in the Legion expansion. Still, the forest of crystal trees is a sight you don’t want to miss.

The Beach Behind Ahn’Qiraj

For those looking for a more private spot to relax, this beach behind Ahn’Qiraj is a perfect spot. There’s not much to do here but watch the Veiled Sea churn with waves. That means it’s not often visited by other people, and you can watch the sunset here without disturbance.

Sure, now that you and any other player has read this article, it may be more populated than usual. That only means more friends to enjoy the view with, don’t you think? A majority of players still prioritize leveling and strengthening their characters, so it shouldn’t be too much of a problem.

The Jade Forest (Shrine of Fellowship)

For those seeking a more normal sight, the Jade Forest in Pandaria is one to see. You’ll be surrounded by greenery and trees everywhere, which psychologically is a relaxing sight. Seeing it through a screen could diminish the effect, but what can we do?

One particular location of interest is the Shrine of Fellowship within the forest. Situated upon a peak, you’ll be able to see for miles and even past the forest. On the ground level, you can’t see much past the trees everywhere. The red shades of the structures on the shrine also make it stand out from all the green.

The Tirisfal Glades

For a darker version of the Jade Forest, the Tirisfal Glades fulfill that category. Elves once tried to settle here, which resulted in them moving away. The reason is that some of them went mad for some reason, and they decided to leave. Legend says that an Old God resides here and is the source of all the weird phenomena happening in the glade.

Whether that’s true or not, the forest here remains a beautiful, if eerie, place. Halloween or horror enthusiasts would love the atmosphere here, where it’s rather dreary, bleak, and a little lonely. It’s the kind of beauty that haunts you in more ways than one.

Bonus: Revendreth

Anyone who loves gothic architecture and dark elements would love to be in Revendreth. The Shadowlands area is filled with that kind of imagery. Also, the area’s storyline and leveling experience are the best out of all the areas in the Realm of the Dead. Ardenweald is a close second for its unique areas and mystical atmosphere.

However, Revendreth is better in the leveling and questing aspects, making the Venthyr Covenant a popular choice.

Conclusion

Saddle up those mounts (or get some WoW mounts for sale) and explore these beautiful areas. Forget about leveling and grinding for a moment and take a breather. Of course, with Azeroth being a big place, there are more unmentioned places to see and admire. Whether you’re there to take screenshots, share the view with another, or just be there to admire, these places are the best to do so.

If you ever find more of these kinds of places, don’t be afraid to share them! Keep enjoying World of Warcraft, and don’t forget to stop and admire the view every once in a while.

FINAL FANTASY is Rising while World of Warcraft is Falling?

Blizzard thought they had a monopoly with World of Warcraft. But PR disasters and rebellious streamers have allowed Final Fantasy XIV to challenge them for the massively multiplayer online genre crown.
The world of Azeroth has survived many attempts to destroy it, but it may have finally met its match.

Blizzard's World of Warcraft has been the king of the massively multiplayer online (MMO) genre for almost two decades, but the head that wears the crown is starting to grow heavy.  According to Activision-Blizzard Q1 2021 financials, Blizzard has seen 29% of its overall active player base bleed away in the last three years.

Two million players have reportedly quit Blizzard's portfolio of games since the company released its Q4 2020 results.  And all this comes on the heels of a number of massive public relations disasters ‘Blizzardvision’ (as some players are calling it) have inflicted upon itself.

Blizzard, which used to be the ‘gold standard in the gaming industry, has seemingly been in a steady state of decline since being merged with Activision.  Everything from its disastrous reveal of Diablo: Immortal – a mobile game that created a huge fan backlash at Blizzcon – to its banning of top-tier Hearthstone player Blitzchung for endorsing Hong Kong's democracy movement, has tarnished the company's previously immaculate sheen.  In addition, reports of bad working conditions and massive layoffs has company morale at an all-time low.

But nothing has seemed to hurt Blizzard more than lackluster World of Warcraft expansions which are criticized by longtime players as “lazy” and “cash grabs.”  The game's recent expansion – Shadowlands – has rubbed numerous players up the wrong way.  Not just in terms of a lack of story, but Blizzard's focus on shifting the game to cater more to casual players and mobile users is starting to have a real negative effect on its hardcore player base.

However, nothing seems to have had a bigger impact than World of Warcraft's biggest streamer, Asmongold, jumping ship from WoW to Final Fantasy XIV.

Asmongold, who has over two million followers on Twitch and 689,000 subscribers on YouTube, inspired a mass exodus to the rival MMO as he began streaming the 11-year-old game from publisher Square Enix.  As former World of Warcraft lead developer Mark Kern said on Twitter:

“So when Asmongold started dipping his toes into alternatives to WoW, interviewing Final Fantasy content creators and then, finally, playing it himself on stream, Blizzard was unaware or unbelieving of what was happening. THEY were the monopoly.

Even Asmongold was taken by shock at the sheer number of viewers his Final Fantasy stream attracted.  Even he had underestimated the number of dissatisfied and curious for alternative WoW gamers.”

It is important to note that in the streaming world, gamers are quick to hop on the next ‘hottest’ trend in order to get viewers to their stream.  And with Asmongold ‘striking gold’ with Final Fantasy XIV, the game has seen a massive influx of ‘WoW Refugees’.

So much so, that Final Fantasy XIV has begun breaking its concurrent player record on Steam.  However, its sudden popularity hasn't been without issue.  Many players are finding the game's servers continuously full, making it hard to log in and play the game.  Even Final Fantasy's European servers are packed, with the game's free trial shunting players into a “neverending queue.”

But the sudden rise in popularity of Final Fantasy XIV with the migration away from World of Warcraft signals one very important thing – ’Blizzardvision’ has taken World of Warcraft fans for granted, and players are starting to rebel.

Never before has World of Warcraft faced such a backlash.  Now, the real question is – can the game survive?  According to Mark Kern, the answer is most likely ‘no’:

“The transition from WoW to Final Fantasy XIV has nothing to do with which is the better game.  It has everything to do with how one company has treated their fan base, because they thought they had an invincible monopoly.”

No matter which way one looks at it, World of Warcraft, and Blizzard, are in a fight for their very survival.

WoW Classic Gold Leatherworking Guide

WoW Classic Leatherworking

WoW Classic Gold making Guide: The Best Ways to Make Gold

We will walk you through how to make WoW Classic leatherworking gold. Keep reading.

Mining

If Engineering or Blacksmithing is your chosen profession, then basically Mining is required.

Mining is one of the main professions in WoW Classic since it is an excellent way to make money except if you plan to begin Leatherworking, Mining is a great profession to take into consideration. Mining allows you to obtain particular WoW Classic items from mineral veins, like Copper Ore, Thorium Ore (best ore in in-game),  Iron Ore, etc. The perfect way to make a hefty amount of money into mining is by selling Blood of the Mountain and Arcane Crystal in the Auction House. Both of these WoW Classic items are extremely rare.

Professions

In World of Warcraft Classic, the Professions is a necessary structure and is substantial in every stage of the game. WoW Classic Professions can help to make WoW Classic items that you will use for PvP and raiding, Classic WoW Professions provide players with a diversity of WoW Classic gold making possibilities, in addition to getting free WoW Classic skills after leveling up.

Below are Classic WoW Professions ranks with regards to making WoW Classic gold.

*Tailoring, Blacksmithing - many times partner with Gathering Profession and Mining.

*Leatherworking - frequently put together with Gathering Profession and Skinning.

*Alchemy, Herbalism, Mining

*Skinning

Enchanting, Engineering

Skinning

Skinning

Skinning is the best Profession to start with and is considered as one of the competitive professions that can give you stable WoW Classic gold on your adventure. Drops and collected WoW Classic items are valuable to be used to level up. Obtaining this Profession is quite tough most especially if you are farming alone but this is the best way of acquiring some extra passive income.

Herbalism

When combined with Alchemy, Herbalism gives an easy way to farm WoW gold without grinding too much because of low-cost Alchemy Supplies that are essentials all the time. To make a Potion and Elixirs, you need to farm Herbs but before you can go on farming you need a combination of Alchemy and Herbalism. While on the field farming, find Black Lotus because it is the perfect herb to farm, being considered as rare and priceless. Selling these valuable Herbs on the WoW Auction House will give you a huge profit and investments due to its high demands for powerful WoW consumables. However, by working and grinding hard to farm Herbs, leveling up Alchemy is the best option than selling it, due to the fact that Alchemy gives you a great amount of WoW Classic gold from the very beginning.

Alchemy

Alchemists brew assorted types of Cauldrons, Oils from the Herbs, Potions, Flasks, Elixirs, and more fantastical Reagent. The powerful mixture can give positive effects such as Mana Restoration or a player can restore a character's health by using these various WoW Classic items like Potions and etc.

The best method to make money as an Alchemist is to mix huge amounts of Oils from Herbs, Potions, Flasks, Elixirs and sell these consumables items at the World of Warcraft Auction House. Most of the Concoctions do not need expensive or rare elements that make Alchemy the best gold-making Profession. The best Alchemy valuable asset and sought-after Concoctions are listed below:

  • Flask of Distilled Wisdom - This drops recipe is from the Balnazzar at the Stratholme Dungeon
  • Elixir of the Mongoose - This drops recipe from various Satyr Demons in Felwood and Azshara Zones, also an important buff for physical damage.
  • Flask of the Titans - This drops recipe from the General Drakkisath at  the Upper Black Rock Spire
  • Arcane Elixir - Learned from an Alchemy Trainer and important buffs for the caster.
  • Flask of Supreme Power - This recipe drops can be looted from Rus Frostwhisper at Scholomance Dungeon but a little bit expensive.
  • Greater Fire Protection Potion -This drops recipe from the Lower Blackrock Spire entrance is important for the Molten Core, especially on Ragnaros and Onyxia's Lair Raids
  • Free Action Potion - Strong in PvP and can be purchased or looted from Alchemy supplies vendors near Orgrimar and Ironforge
  • Living Action Potion - Strong in PvP and can be purchased at quartermaster Zandalar Tribe's at Exalted Reputation and in some situation it works as improved Insignia

World of Warcraft: Chains of Domination

It’s time for unchained domination!

In the world of pop culture, leaks are a given. Fans can sometimes be so eager that any bit of news about upcoming releases is gold. So much so that certain people tend to go overboard and resort to leaks prior to official announcements. While this may seem like a sneak peek at things to come, it can oftentimes be harmful. But such is the folly of fandoms! This pop culture thing extends to the world of video games—including MMORPGs such as World of Warcraft.

World of Warcraft Chains of Domination
The good thing is that despite of the leak that Blizzard has had to deal with, The WoW faithful’s excitement didn’t diminish one bit as they were treated to very much welcome news during BlizzConline! It wasn’t much of a surprise, but the excitement was indeed still palpable. The latest update for World of Warcraft: Shadowlands comes in the form of
Chains of Domination and it has a load of goodies for WoW fans old and new!

So before you go off to cheap WoW gold, sit tight as we check out what it has to offer!

Building Up the Hype

New stories, new dungeons, and fresh raids! Those, along with the coolest WoW items and an abundance of WoW gold are the things that await you in Chains of Domination and so much more! Patch 9.1 was officially unveiled at Blizzcon two years ago, so you can bet the excitement built up to a frenzy. With the release of Shadowlands, World of Warcraft’s leveling system received a massive overhaul which was further augmented by access to the coveted Death Knight for new races. But while these improvements were indeed welcome ones, it didn’t take long for the fans’ hunger to be satiated. They wanted more and Blizzard was going to give them more!

Living Up to Lofty Standards

Enter Chains of Domination! Players will be treated to Korthia, the new endgame zone which is dubbed the City of Secrets. Once there, players will have a showdown with the Jailer just as he plunges the lost city into the Maw. This ultimately means that players will get to fully immerse themselves in the experience as they will have the opportunity to venture out further into the Maw. As if that wasn’t enough to pique your interest, Blizzard also added new dailies for players to complete.

As for the new raid, Blizzard christened it the Sanctum of Domination. It is a whopping 10-boss raid with loads of adventure so you’ll surely get your fill until you reach the final boss, the macabre Sylvannas Windrunner. On top of that, players will also get to enjoy a mythic 8-boss dungeon to wrap things up!

Final Reactions

Patches and updates are the lifeblood of games that have been around for as long as World of Warcraft has. They have the power to infuse freshness into the oldest of games to make them seem new. Sometimes, though, these updates fall short and cause their franchises to land right smack onto the pavement. Thankfully, this isn’t the case most of the time. And judging from what we’ve seen so far, Chains of Domination certainly has enough going for it to keep old fans engaged while enticing newcomers to the game at the same time. So go forth and buy WoW gold to aid you on your adventures! Good luck in Azeroth!

What do you think of the latest World of Warcraft Shadowlands patch? Are you excited about it or is it a big “meh” for you? Let us know your thoughts by dropping a comment below!

Life Begins at 60: Things to Do in WoW Classic at Max Level

WoW Classic Level 60

WoW Classic is all about bringing the game back to its 2004 state. That means a time before easy WoW Classic level boosts so new players or long-time players with new characters can just skip the grind. In turn, that means the road to reach level 60 is going to be a challenge again.

To give those who are either completely new to World of Warcraft or have forgotten the perks of getting to hit level 60 a bit of motivation, here are the content and activities you should do when you reach that level cap.

From WoW Classic Adventurer to Fighter

You can choose not to engage in PVP throughout your entire career as an adventurer in Azeroth, but where’s the fun in that? After all, it’s natural for gamers to get competitive, and even those that prefer PVE over PVP get that urge once in a while.

And while you can start duking it out with other players as early as your late twenties, you won’t reach latter ranks unless you’re capped. As for World PVP, it’s generally safer to be at level 60 in WOW when you do. Plus, it’s sadistically funny to take out players that are ten levels below you or even half your level.

If the fun and competitiveness aren’t good enough for you to get hooked to this kind of content, then maybe the rewards will. From PVP trinkets to Epic weapons, you’ll definitely want to get your hands on these. Trust us, they’re worth killing for.

Perfect, This Mount in WoW Classic

For a lot of players, collecting mounts is a popular endeavor. And while you can do this quite early on, you won’t get to access much content until you’re at level 60 in WoW Classic. That aside, a lot of them can only be used at that level as well anyway. That’s why the perfect time to spend much time getting rides is once you’re level-capped.

The best place to start with Epic mounts is those you can buy with WoW Classic Gold. Save for the Undead, which only has two, each race has three mounts. There’s a different kind o steed for every race, so hopefully, you like it.

If they’re not exactly what you want your ride or die to be, then there are always those that are dropped by bosses. Lots of them are dropped by bosses, and you won’t even be able to encounter them in the first place if you’re under-leveled, so you still need to be at level 60 in Classic WOW anyway.

Good examples of these would be the Swift Razzashi Raptor, the Swift Zulian Tiger, and last but definitely not least, the fabled Deathcharger. And if you’re part of the Alliance, why not get your hands on the Winterspring Frostsaber? It’s a cool cat that will get you feeling like the Priestess of the Moon, especially if you’re a Night Elf.

Time for Mastery

To some people, getting to level 60 in World of Warcraft Classic means they’re finally done with the “boring” kind of grinding, and that it’s time to move on to raids and other equally exciting content. But to some, this is the perfect time to take care of the last few areas that are better off perfected: spell and ability ranks.

While a lot of warcraft classic players manage anyway without getting them maxed, it’s better that you do. And once you have, it’s time to check your rotations once again, as many of their cast times and cooldowns have likely changed. If they did, then your rotations will have to be adjusted.

All of these are just the tip of the iceberg, or rather, the Frozen Throne. There are lots of other things you can do at level 60 in Classic WoW. Nevertheless, these are the best things to start with once you get to the top. So if you didn't reach the level cap, about time you do.

World of Warcraft: Games as a Productivity Platform

gabe newell wow gold farmer

How the Steam Workshop was born
The Steam Workshop is a place where Steam users can create their own content. From new items to new levels, they enhance the game with either cosmetics or entirely new stories. It's a place where fans of the game can share their work and sometimes, even profit from them.
Who knew it all started when Gabe Newell decided to become a WoW gold farmer? He saw that it pays off comfortably, even beating out the wages of some real-world jobs. With that in mind, the direction of Valve went from games as entertainment to games as platforms of productivity.

What Does That Mean?

Simply put, you can profit by enjoying games. Creating content for a game is a way of enjoying it. Where do you think all the fanart or fanfiction came from? Players enjoyed the game so much they had to make something to show their appreciation. Fan content is no different, and the effort of making both is comparatively similar.
Think about all the fan content on Sims. There's also all the mods for Skyrim. Addons for MMOs are a version of fan content. Each one of those was made by players who either saw a need or thought that an item like that would be fun. They create, but may not know where to put them.
Thus, Steam Workshop was born. It's where you can find fan content for a game, whether it's free or sold for a price.

Conclusions

That's why you shouldn't discount the time you spend farming World of Warcraft gold. Eventually, you'll be able to raise enough to buy a WoW Token. That's an item that can give you more subscription time. The only other way to get one is by paying real money for it. When you're able to get it through getting WoW gold to pay the current WoW Token price, it's almost as good as getting paid for your time playing.
Of course, that's no comparison to getting profit from selling something you created (or those who buy WoW gold you’re selling but you didn't hear that from us). So go out and create! Be productive while you enjoy video games.
Stay healthy and have fun!

Favorite Vanity Headgears in WoW Classic

Headgears in WoW Classic

Heads Up: WoW Classic’s Favorite Helmets

To some adventurers in Azeroth, fashion is just as important as a function—if not more. It’s obviously not a practical preference, but people have the right to have fun and play however they want. And of all the pieces of gear, the helmet is one of the most conspicuous, if not the most, so lots of players choose snazzy headgear. here are the most ten popular vanity helmets that you can buy with WoW Classic gold.

Red Defias Mask

Nothing says badass bandit better than a red mask over the nose and mouth, and that’s what exactly the Red Defias Mask is. Fittingly, but rather unfairly, only the Rogue class can equip it, so your dream of a gangster, Paladin has sadly been dashed.

Considering the title of the article, it is not only functionless style-wise but also mechanics-wise, as Defias thieves will still attack you!

Eye of Rend

Despite the fancy name, it’s just an eye patch. With it, you can pretend to be a pirate, a mercenary from a post-apocalyptic America movie, or a soldier and espionage expert from a Japanese video game.

Fortunately, unlike the Red Defias Mask, all classes can equip it. Plus, it has some stat bonuses, so it’s not altogether functionless.

Dragonstalker Helm

Having a helm made out of a dragon’s skull is an RPG staple. It’s a cranium cover that practically screams how much of a true dragon slayer you are. Aside from being a cool headgear, it’s also one of the eight pieces of the Dragonstalker Set, which is exclusively for hunters.

Dropped by Onyxia, this helm has quite the stat bonuses as well. Plus, if you complete the set, you get bonus attack power to Aspect of the Hawk, bonus stamina for your pets, and a chance to inflict Expose Weakness by attacking the target.

Crown of Destruction

Some gears are on fire. By that, we mean super-stylish–that’s just how the slang is nowadays. But then there is a helmet that is literally fire: the Crown of Destruction.

Yes, it is just fire on the head of the wearer, which can only be equipped by Mail armor classes. And that’s exactly what makes it such a sought-after piece of equipment.

Nemesis Skullcap

Maybe the whole draconic helm aesthetic isn’t your thing, but you still want the skull of a dead creature on your head. If that’s the case for you, then the Nemesis Skullcap is something you’ll definitely covet. Rather than a dragon’s, it’s from a demon, making you a lot more badass and frightening! The bright green Felglow definitely helps in that effect.

Unfortunately, only Warlocks can equip it. A shame that much like the Dragonstalker Helm, this headgear is also class-exclusive. But hey, maybe this can encourage you to make a character that is either these two classes. Or better yet, both!

Preceptor’s Hat

The last, but definitely not the least, helmet on our list that you can by using WoW Classic Gold, and old piece of gear: the Preceptor’s Hat. That’s a fancy name for your usual wizard’s hat. Think Gandalf, Dumbledore, and the sorting hat!

Aside from being a pretty cool headgear, it’s got good stats that are well-suited to spellcasting classes. To get one, you have to hope that Heigan the Unclean, a boss in Naxxramas, drops one. It’s a rather low 20%, but hey, it’s better than nothing!

So there you have it, a few of the many headgears that have become popular in WoW solely for their visuals. Did we miss any? Do you have other cool, funky, or downright bizarre helmets you have in mind? If the answer is yes, you better tell us. Who knows? We may even feature them on our next list!

Beyond Draenor: WoW Classic Horde Leveling Zones

WoW Classic Horde Leveling Zones

Players take on WoW Classic Horde leveling zones for different reasons. Maybe you want to know what it’s like on the other side. Maybe you’ve simply forgotten your early days as a member. Regardless of your reason, we know why you’re here. So without further ado, here are the leveling zones for The Horde. With them, you’ll be taking on the Alliance while earning serious WoW Classic Gold on the side!

Starting Point

If you’re either Orc or Troll, the first zone you’ll be spending time in is Durotar, a desert. On the other hand, if you’re Undead and Tauren, you’ll be starting in the ghastly, horror town-esqueTirisfal Glades and the calming plains of Mulgore, respectively. You’ll be staying in those places until level 10, which can be pretty short but can feel like forever if you lack patience. This is especially true if you’ve been spoiled rotten by the main World of Warcraft’s QoL features.

The Middle of Things

Once you get past level 10 and start moving out of the starting zones, the world will feel much bigger. Aside from the literal sense of the word, there are various areas where you can grind until you get to Level 10.

Right from the get-go, you can start grinding in The Barrens, which are very much like the African savannah. It will definitely be a very hot place if it were real but, for some reason, its sights are awe-inspiring and very relaxing. Here, you can gain EXP until you get to level 33.

Other alternatives include Silverpine Forest and Stonetalon Mountains. The former, which is a cool evergreen forest, is a good place to grind until you reach level 20. The latter, on the other hand, is a pretty dry mountainous region, and is recommended for players who are level 15 to 25, and is a place where PvP battles are likely to happen. At the end of the day, The Barrens is still the better choice.
For even more options for people who get tired of grinding in the same place, again and again, they can try HillsbradFoothills and Ashenvale. They’re pretty fun places to level up in from 20 to 30, and they have lots of quests over there. The latter, however, is practically Night Elf territory, so it should go without saying that you should be ready to fight Alliance scum!

Into the Endgame

Upon approaching mid-30s, however, things can get quite tricky, as you’ll have no choice but to move, and almost all zones you’ll be grinding in next are contested territories. Be warned!
A good example of this is Stranglethorn Vale. It’s one of the more relaxing zones out there, with it being a lush jungle and all, but it’s also a favorite among Alliance players, so you need to be extra careful. Arathi Highlands is a good alternative, but it’s got fewer quests and has a few elite mobs from time to time.

Other good zones to level up in are Badlands, Swamp of Sorrows, and Dustwallow Marsh, where you can stay until you’re level 45. And at level 40-50, you can either grind in these three same zones or you can move on to Tanaris, Feralas, TheHinterlands, and SearingGorge.

Finally, the last stretch! Your level 50-60 grind is divided into two. The first half is usually spent in level 47-55 zones, like the Blasted Lands and Un’Goro Crater. The former is your usual wasteland while the latter is the game’s version of Jurassic Park. If all things considered are equal, Un’Goro Crater is the one with a better atmosphere. You can also try out the quests in Azshara, but there aren’t a lot of quests there. For the second half, it will be in level 55-60 zones, such as Eastern Plaguelands, Winterspring, and Silithus.

So there you have it–the zones you need to be in to get to level 60 real quick. Happy grinding, may you find that sweet spot and may your grinding be as fun as can be!

Got the Grinding Blues in WoW Classic or Retail? Here Are Some Things to Do

wow classic vs retail

Let's face it. Nobody can handle continuous grinding for extended periods of time. Without regular breaks, burnout is inevitable. You may think you're fine now, but this kind of thing has a way of creeping up on you slowly. It may start with a gradual reduction of time spent playing. Then you start questioning why you're still playing at all. Next thing you know, you haven't played for a whole week!

So, what can you do when fatigue sets in as you farm World of Warcraft Retail or WoW Classic gold or levels? Read on for some activities you can do.

Griefing

Mischievous players in PvP servers can take the time to be an inconvenience to others. From disrupting quests to impersonating NPCs, there's a wide variety of tricks you can play on other players. Your reputation will take a hit, but you should be prepared to cope with that. Just don't be too much of a jerk and keep everyone else from having fun too!

Help Other Players

On the other side of the coin, if you're a more altruistic soul, you can offer to help lower-leveled or new players. You may ask for monetary compensation or not, depending on your preference. Activities under this category include assisting in dungeons, giving a lift with the two-seater WoW mounts, and accompanying them to their destination. You might even gain new friends as you do this!

Host Small-Scale Games

Gather up some other bored players and start a game of tag, hide-and-seek, or similar games. An alternative is to hold a race from town to town. Rewards should sweeten the deal if you have the necessary resources to provide one. However, it's not required to have fun.

Role-play

With the right equipment, you can look like certain characters. Whether you're copying a character in the game itself or from another franchise, it's a new experience to enjoy in a game where you’re already role-playing, to begin with.

Explore Azeroth

In the unending rush of grinding or farming, sometimes the beauty of Battle of Azeroth falls by the wayside. When was the last time you took the time to appreciate the landscapes and environment of the game? Saddle up your mount and take a ride or flight through the continent. Why not take a few screenshots of the best views as well?

Take a Break from the Game

Sometimes, fatigue is too great. If the above suggestions don't seem to help, maybe taking a few days off from playing can help. Removing yourself completely from whatever's stressing you can give a bit of relief. You can also take the time to figure out what to do next. Focus on another hobby you have, or spend time with your family. Otherwise, you can try playing a different game. You’d be surprised at how reinvigorated you are once you start playing again. Take note of your subscription status if you're doing this. You might want to turn off the auto-renew option if you're going to take a long break.

Even the best players get tired. Pushing yourself when you're at that state isn't healthy at all. Playing a game shouldn't become a chore; you play it to have fun. When it stops being fun, that's when you take a break to refresh yourself. Any of the methods above are available, or you can find your own. No game is worth risking your health and life over.

Have fun in Vanilla with some WoW Classic items or World of Warcraft Retail, and please take care of yourself!

Help With Past Endeavors: WoW Classic Guide

WoW Classic Guide

Despite losing more recent content and various quality of life features, World of Warcraft Classic became a hit. For veterans, it’s because of nostalgia. For those that joined in past Wrath of the Lich King, it’s a chance to experience the things they missed. And for those who have never played WoW at all, it’s the opportunity to finally try this quintessential MMO.If you’re among those who play it for the last two reasons, then we hope you enjoy the updated version of WoW Vanilla.

Here are a few classic class guides that will help you have a good time, be it in WoW Classic Gold farming or anything else!

The Class Struggle

Obviously, the first thing you’ll need to do is to choose your race and class quests. If you’ve been playing Vanilla WoW for quite some time now, then you most likely have an affinity for a particular race or class in mind. But unless you’ve experienced WoW Classic phase firsthand, then there’s a chance that you’d make a few mistakes. Worse, you might end up choosing a class you thought would fit your style but actually doesn’t.

You can also end up with the class guide you want but not the talent build you want. And unlike in WoW now where you can have more than one role, roles in Classic world is way more rigid. For example, you can be a DPS druid tank, but you’d be more useful in raids if you stuck with support.
As for first-timers, here’s the thing about races: you can choose any, provided that they can take up the classes you want. However, some races fit certain classes better. To choose the best race guide with the class it’s best suited for, check out that race’s abilities first and whether or not it will synergize with the talent build you want.

For the Long Haul

After choosing your race and class, the next most important thing to take into consideration is leveling guides up. And in WoW Classic, it’s going to take you quite the time to get from level 1 to 60. This is because unlike the more recent expansions where the game makes sure you get to the cap as quickly as possible, the original 2004 game is a slow burn. Heck, older players took a year before they finally hit the cap.

Don’t be in a hurry to reach the endgame. Rather, just enjoy every step of the way. Every dungeon, grind session, and class quests line finished–you’re going to remember them when the endgame is in sight. Heck, you might even want to go back and grind all over again!

Money, Food, and Company

Collecting mounts has become a rather popular endeavor in Azeroth. And in the more recent expansions, they’re a dime a dozen. In WoW Classic, however, mounts are much harder to come by. Aside from the fact that there are fewer mounts, they are also less snazzy, and ironically, pricier. So if you’re not looking forward to getting around the world on foot, it’s important that you save up on WoW gold right from the start.

Other than gold, you also need to save up on food and water. Compared to today’s Classic World of Warcraft, water and food are harder to come by. Stack up whenever you see a food vendor!
Last but definitely not least, keep in mind that Classic WoW is a much more social game compared to what WoW has become. Therefore, you mustn’t do anything stupid that may make you infamous. Also, since there’s no Quest Finder yet, you need to either unlock certain quest guide lines to unlock certain dungeons or areas within it, or party up with someone that already has.

Because of the many changes WoW underwent, its WoW Classic class days can feel like a completely different beast. But don’t feel daunted–it’s actually quite the romp. Just take these tips to heart and you’ll have an enjoyable experience!

Ride Back in Time: WoW Classic Mounts

wow classic mounts

Collecting mounts has been a popular endeavor for World of Warcraft fans since WoW Classic. Back in the day, however, mounts weren’t as many—or as crazy. Whether it’s a good or a bad thing to you, it can’t be denied that those mounts had a good design and that people loved them wholeheartedly. So here’s a look-back for the veterans, and a sneak peek for the newbies: a guide on what mount to get and how to get them.

One for Every Race

A good place, or rather, the only place to begin is the racial mounts. At level 40 and 60, you’ll be able to get the mount specific to your race, provided that you have the Riding Skill and enough WoW Classic gold. The level 60 mounts are faster than the level 40 ones, so if you can only buy one mount at the moment, it’s better that you go for the former.

Here are the races and the specific mount they’ll be getting:

·         Humans – horses from Katie Hunter in Eastvale Logging Camp, which is east of Elwynn Forest. You can train in Horse Riding with Randal Hunter, which is also in camp.

·         Orcs – wolves from OgunaroWolfrunner in Orgimmar’s Valley of Honor.Train Wolf Riding with Kildar.

·         Night Elves – sabers (tiger-like big cats) from Lelanai in Darnassus, close to the portal leading to Ruth'ven Village. Learn Tiger Riding from Jartsam.

·         Undead – undead horses from Zachariah Post in Brill, which is close to the Ruins of Lordaeron. Velma Warnam will teach you Undead Horsemanship.

·         Dwarves – rams from VeronAmberstill at Amsterstill Ranch in Dun Morogh, which should be near Kharanos. Ram Riding is taught by UlthamIronhorn.

·         Trolls – raptors from Zjolnirin Sen’jin Village. Xar’Tiwill teach you Raptor Riding.

·         Gnomes – mechanostriders, which are more like robot big flightless birds. You’ll learn Mechanostrider Piloting from BinjyFeatherwhistle.

·         Tauren– kodos, huge herbivorous dinosaur-like mounts with one rhino-like horns, are sold by HarbClawhoof in Bloodhoof Village, which is south of Thunder Bluff in Mulgore. Kodo Riding is taught by KarStormsinger.

Such Classy Horses

Perhaps you’re not too keen on the race mounts. If so, then maybe the class mounts would suit you better. After all, some race mounts don’t suit certain classes, with mechanostriders being the biggest offender, as it will definitely be quite the mismatch with Gnome mages and warlocks.

Unfortunately, only two classes have class mounts. There’s the Warhorse for the Paladin, which is obtained at level 40. Because Paladin is locked to Alliance in Classic, you’ll have to live with the fact that you won’t get this one if you’re playing Horde.

To obtain it, you need to take the quest called Tome of Nobility from a Paladin trainer, which you’ll find in any major city. However, it’s best to start the quest in Stormwind, as it’s where you’ll find the final NPC for the quest.

As for the Warlock, they get the Felsteed, a black horse with glowing fel-green hooves and eyes. Similar to the Paladin mount, you can get it as early as level 40, provided that you complete the Summon Felsteed quest for it. To start the quest, talk to StrahadFarsan, which you’ll find on top of a hill near the bank in Ratchet in The Barrens.

Let’s be honest – the roster of mounts in World of Warcraft’s first outing is quite small. But hey, they’re still pretty cool! You know what they say, you can’t beat a classic, and that’s very much true for the classic mount. And if they’re really not your cup of tea, just wait for Phase 2 – there’s going to be more rides coming your way.

WOW CLASSIC REPUTATION GUIDE

Being nice has its perks, but getting into trouble can sometimes be fun as well. Much like in the real world, reputation in WoW Classic is built up by doing good deeds such as certain favors or quests for other people and killing creatures that are bothering the neighborhood—the last one obviously isn’t relatable in real life. If you’re in need of familiarization with the reputation system of WoW Classic and how it ultimately affects the way you earn WoW classic gold, then you’ve come at the right place. With our WoW Classic reputation guide, you can learn important stuff such as how to increase your reputation and how to avoid getting your brownie points shaved off!

What exactly is Reputation?

The reputation of your character is determined by whether NPCs in WoW Classic react positively to you or try to cut your head off. Players usually deal with increasing their reputation during the endgame. The reason being is that since they’ve gotten all the gear they need and have participated in raids, the only way for them to make any sort of progress in the game is to bump up their reputation.

What are the different Reputation Levels you need to know?

There are eight different reputation levels that you can attain inside the game:

Reputation
Points needed to level up
Description
Hated
36,000
Oh boy, are you in too deep in this one. If your character is hated, Enemy cities and PvP factions will kill you on sight. Not just that, but this is set permanently. Meaning you’ll have to live the rest of your in-game life in WoW Classic in this state. It takes a lot of work to get hated this much, and the results that yield it aren’t worth the effort either.
Hostile
3,000
Enemy cities and PvP factions are required to kill you on sight. However, unlike having a Hated reputation, this is still temporary and can still, be undone by increasing your reputation points.
Unfriendly
3,000
Having an Unfriendly reputation leaves you unable to buy, sell or interact with the members in your faction. If you want to increase your reputation, refrain from killing any other members that are both within and outside your faction.
Neutral
3,000
This is the starting point for all the players who have just recently joined the faction. Whether it’s the Horde or Alliance, everyone begins with a Neutral reputation.
Friendly
6,000
In allied cities, chances are you’ll start with a Friendly reputation. The demeanor of the NPCs is more approachable compared to being neutral. However, no perks are given at this state.
Honored
12,000
Having an Honored reputation grants you a 10% discount on all items from the vendors of your faction and its allied cities. This is especially useful when you’re on a tight budget.
Revered
21,000
As if a 10% discount wasn’t enough, having a Revered reputation will earn you an additional 5% discount, totaling to a 15% discount on all the wares available for purchase in your alliance of choice.
Exalted
999
The Exalted reputation is the highest attainable ranking in all of WoW Classic. In addition to having a 20% discount, players with this reputation will also get access to special perks such as tabards and mounts.

Conclusion

Besides having the opportunity to do special missions that aren’t available in other reputation levels, having a high reputation bags you discount prices in all of the vendors that are in your alliance. Not only does this save you some WoW classic gold, but it also gives you some activities to do despite reaching the endgame. Overall, it’s best to always have a neutral to good reputation within your group (it won’t matter if you’re hated by the enemy clan since your quests will mostly consist of killing certain members there).
