Escape rooms are quite literally a real-life simulation of video games, so it would come as no surprise that somewhere out there, video games based on escape rooms exist. In this article, we discuss 5 of the most iconic and legendary escape room video games to ever grace the gaming community.

1.      The Witness:

This is a game for anyone who loves movies about being stranded on an island. The concept is rather simple; you first figure out how to progress through the island by solving some clues in a bunker. The best part about this game is that the whole island is solvable, but players usually tend to pick a specific path as they progress; you can always head back and try different paths.

You will start to realize just how incredibly well-strung the game is as you progress in the game. The more you solve puzzles and get to more difficult parts of the game, the more you realize the importance of some details revealed in the early stages of the game. So, you’re always learning new things!

Sure, at first glance, this game might not seem like an escape room, but when you broaden your horizons, you start to pick up on the similarities in terms of having to discover things and also having to solve clues and puzzles.

2.      Firewatch:

This game is more like an adventure game, if anything, like a sort of walking simulator where you, Henry, go about every day as a new park ranger performing your daily tasks. The interesting part about this game isn’t about the adventures he has either; neither is it an action-packed game, but it revolves around Henry’s previous and forthcoming relationships and the amazingly timed voiceovers.

Many have claimed that the game does not have a satisfactory ending, but that is life, is it not? If you come to expect great endings in every video game, then what exactly is the purpose of playing it? In terms of it being an escape room like an escape room in Bangalore, if you are the type to play an escape room solely for the storyline, you will enjoy this game.

3.      The Room:

This game is confidently one of the first of its kind because it’s a whole new genre! Think of a mix between a Rubik’s Cube and Rube Goldberg’s machine. That is this game. The gameplay has you started by presenting The Box, which is a mystery box; later in the game, you will learn it is made of an unknown element called null. The further you progress through the game by solving puzzles and clues, the more letters you get from the same writer.

It gets to a point where the writer descends into madness; the goal is to unlock the four mystery boxes in the house to inevitably extract a complex box within. This is the textbook definition of an escape room game that can be bizarre yet appeasing.

4.      Faraway Series:

This is arguably the best escape room video game ever created. You start off the game with three parts, the puzzle escape, arctic escape, and jungle escape. The gameplay of the puzzle escape starts with you ready to explore an ancient civilization. You are here because your father led you to this place. You then are to solve clues to 18 temples in the civilization, each of which unlocks several notes that aid you in solving the other puzzles as well.

The arctic gameplay begins with you in search of your long-lost father, it has been several years since his disappearance, and you seem to be getting nowhere. But you seem to be getting closer after one of your expeditions leads you to a frosty temple area; you are getting closer to finding your father.

You continue to discover clues left behind by him for you but now ultimately have to escape the frosty temple to continue with your expedition. And lastly, the jungle escape is the most straightforward game on this list, with minimal backstory. You are sent into a jungle environment and have to find your way out and escape.

5.      The Zero Escape:

Do you remember the movie The Saw? Maybe you even watched it. This is the movie that inspired the creations of the first-ever escape room! And this game is no different because it too was inspired by The Saw. Just like in the movie The Saw, you have to solve clues and figure out ways to escape torture. The puzzles are meant to endanger your life, and by solving them, you are basically saving yourself and buying time for an ultimate escape. It is truly a Saw video game.

Conclusion

And these were five of the most legendary escape room-themed video games you must try out if you like escape rooms. Even if you have not heard of the concept before, these games are sure to make your brain work hard and increase gray matter. From adventure-based games to straight-on depictions of the movie The Saw, the range of these escape room-based video games is truly magnificent, so do not hesitate to give them a try.

Elder Scrolls Online Gold Farming Guide

How does farming gold support you in the game?

Undoubtedly, owning ESO Gold makes your journey comfortable and experience worthy. This gold can be used to pay for travels in the Tamriel continental, buy Armors, potions, weapons, secrets or information, and other items in the game. It can also be utilized to make your way out of trouble.

There are devised ways to farm gold in the game. Some of them are not suitable as you need to strive hard, but you'll come to know the most used and authentic methods here. So you can choose the most appropriate one for yourself.

1. Crafting

Crafting is the absolute best method of making money and farming gold in Elder Scrolls Online. There's always an extreme need for a craftsman, making it an incredibly effective way to become rich in the game. Every hour there is a need for a craftsman. An experienced and good craftsman also earns a handsome amount of gold or money as a tip.

2. Dungeons

There are two kinds of Dungeons available in the game: solo and public. Running public Dungeons is a popular way to farm the gold, which makes you get the XP and other items. There are a variety of dungeons for gold farming, such as

Veteran

Manse at Reaper's March

Crimson Cove at Malabal Tor

Razak's Wheel of Bangkorai

MOTIF FARMING FOR gold

3. Questing

There are five major and most potent guilds that you can join for questing as it is a unique and effective way. It will help you be rich and give you experience and valuable skills. You win the quest by defeating the prominent dangerous person from the opponents. Once the task is completed, a chest key is given to you to find a random amount of food, gold, weapons. Doing this can help you become wealthy.

4. Collect everything

The game starts with the character being a prisoner, which means no one starts being rich. You can work to make it. It will be helpful to collect everything like plants, broken stuff, wood stacks, Aspect runes, barrels, chests. You can sell to others at some price, or you may also keep the valuable junk.

5. Trading

It's an early investment method that you need to own some gold first. But the initially required amount is relatively small and can build up with time slowly. There are numerous spots where you can purchase goods at cheaper rates. Then, Sell these goods at a higher rate for profit. The more money or gold you invest in buying goods, the more profit you'll be able to earn. When you have started, do proper research and check the most famous merchants in that specific area. Always start by setting a minimum price list to filter all the trash.

6. Stealing

It may sound immoral or illegal to steal anything, but it's a well-proven method of farming gold in ESO. The Justice system release established that strategy as a better way of gaining an extensive amount of Eso gold. Before starting these adventures in crime life, gain adequate knowledge and techniques.

7. Helping your friends

Helping and making friends in ESO is vital. You can play the game solo, but playing it with friends can earn you more benefits, and you can have fun together. With more players, you're able to participate in public Dungeons and battles easily without even getting into the trouble of randomly finding someone to play with you.

8. Don't waste money

A penny saved in need is a penny earned. Never waste your gold or money on the way and armors. I prefer walking and selling broken weapons as they become waste. When you 1``fight in battle, you'll be able to pick good stuff and replace it with the broken ones.

9. Hunt down recipes

Selling rune boxes and motifs can help you earn plenty of gold within no time. These are the most valuable assets one can possess and can sell when the market price is incredibly high. You find these items rarely at server events and trials. You can earn a valuable profit from an expensive recipe.

10. Crime life

Furthermore, to steal stuff, you can also traffick, murder and theft for the sake of gold. That profit from this dark life is much more than your average gathering gig. Don't do crime in the open as it will make you caught. Launder the stuff you use for crime purposes. It will protect you from being trapped.

Conclusion:

Out of all these ways of gold farming, You can choose the most suitable one for yourself. No one can get rich in ESO overnight; it takes persistence, knowledge, and skill.

Everything to Know About Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker

From new jobs to a game mode that’s all about the farming life, find out the important details about what’s coming to the Endwalker expansion in FFXIV!

Final Fantasy XIV is one of the biggest games in the world, so to announce a major expansion coming draws a lot of attention--like millions of existing and new players alike. The Endwalier is by far the most anticipated Final Fantasy expansion pack yet, and not only that but it’s poised to become one of the biggest expansions ever been released throughout the lifespan of FFXIV. The hype surrounding what’s to come is almost unparalleled when compared to the previous expansion releases, and it’s mostly due to the Endwalker marking the end of the storyline that began back in 2013 in A Realm Reborn. While no doubt there will be new quests to undertake and farm FFXIV Gil for, Endwalker is expected to be quite an emotional ride for many players that have come to love the cast of character that they’ve been with over the years. Without further ado, here’s everything you need to know about Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker.

Release Date for Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker

Square Enix has confirmed that Endwalker is set to release on Fall 2021, or more specifically, November 23, 2021. This was announced during the all-digital Final Fantasy 14 Fanfest 2021 by the Game Director, Naoki Yoshida. Due to the transition of working from the office to working from home, Yoshida has commented that the release is a bit later than what they were expecting for the expansion to be released. This meant that Square Enix was running a few months late behind its summer release schedule, but most importantly, they didn’t want to release Endwalker and comprise its quality or cut any features, hence the delay. This seems like the right call to make for every game company right now. Players often understand the meaning behind delays of game releases, and with Endwalker being all hyped up, it would be a shame for it to be released even when it’s still an incomplete mess. Imagine having cutbacks by omitting certain FFXIV mounts or items in the FFXIV store--that would be a tragedy!

What to Expect in the Endwalker Expansion

There’s lots of Endwalker content that was also unveiled during the FFXIV Fanfest 2021. Here’s what we know about what’s to come in the expansion so far:

  1. A New Race

The Viera race in FFXIV has been around for quite some time, and players might know them as the “hot bunny people” that first surfaced in Final Fantasy XII. For those that wish to become a Viera themselves, bunny ears and all, boy are they in for a treat! Male Vieras have never been seen before since it is the females that usually show themselves; In the Endwalker expansion, players will finally be able to create a male Viera and make their himbo bunny dreams a reality. Who wouldn’t want to have such floofy ears that are no doubt soft as a pillow?

  1. Two New Jobs

There will be two new jobs in the Endwalker expansion. These are the Sage and the Reaper. The Sage is the newest healer that will be utilizing a Nouliths weapon. Players can only undertake this job should they have a starting level of 70. Some of Sage’s abilities include barrier and healing spells to protect other party members, temporary augmentation of their magic abilities, and the ability to use Aether to manipulate their Nouliths in battle.

The Reaper, on the other hand, is a DPS melee specialist that can call upon an avatar from the Void to aid them when engaging in close-quarter combat. As the Reaper, players have the choice of using two-handed scythe weapons and even serve as a host for the avatar that they have summoned. Much like for the Sage, the Reaper job requires players to have at least a starting level of 70.

  1. The Island Sanctuary

Ever wanted to just take a break and kick back watching the cows go moo? Well, the Island Sanctuary is the perfect place for you, my friend. There’s still little information unveiled as to how this mode will play out, but what we do know is that it’s going to be all about cultivating the land and raising animals that’s smack dab in the middle of an uninhabited deserted island. For those that aren’t feeling any interest in saving the world from total annihilation, the Island Sanctuary is geared towards players who prefer living the slow life. Sometimes, being a Farmer of Light can be better than having the title of Warrior of Light.

Final Thoughts

With the release of the Endwalker expansion for Final Fantasy XIV looming near, fans are eager while at the same time emotional to finally see the end of the storyline together with the characters that they’ve grown attached to. No doubt there will be lots of new items in the FFXIV store to discover and additional ways to farm FFXIV Gil, but at the very least, players can get a taste of what to expect for the much-awaited addition to the library of expansions that Square Enix has.
