The Best Untradeable Items in Old School RuneScape

OSRS items

Here are some of the best untradeable items in Old School RuneScape that we think to deserves a spot in your inventory.

Old School RuneScape has a plethora of items with each one possessing a unique set of uses. From the usual potions down to some rare capes that are worth a lot of OSRS gold, items are what makes the gold in OSRS flow and keep the economy stable. This is why we’ve seen an influx of buying OSRS gold and OSRS gold selling. Besides selling and buying items for gold, they can also be traded items. Say you have an item that you’ve outgrown but you already have enough gold that could last for months. Instead of selling the item, you can simply look for a person willing to trade an item that you’re looking for. But note that not all items are tradeable. In fact, there are some non-tradeable items in OSRS that are deemed essential by players, but unfortunately can either only be crafted or bought in shops.

If you’re keen on finding out which untradeable items on your inventory are the ones worth keeping, then you’ve come to the right place! We’ll be talking about the best non-tradeable items in Old School RuneScape and why you should consider keeping them in your inventory.

  1. The Fire Cape
    OSRS fire cape

The Fire Cape is one of the most well-known capes in Old School RuneScape. Fire Capes have never been tradeable, nor will they ever be according to the developers of the game. This cape is important for those who are looking to master the arts of Melee Combat, Slayer, and Bossing. Besides attack bonuses, the Fire Cape grants the player donning the Runescape items on an additional +4 Strength bonus and a +2 Prayer bonus. Altogether, this cape is essential for those that specialize in using melee attacks. Unfortunately, you can’t buy OSRS item cape using OSRS gold, but there are a number of ways to get one. For starters, you’ll be able to receive a Fire Cape should you achieve level 99 in Firemaking. If Firemaking isn’t your forte, you can get the cape by defeating TzTok-Jad instead.

  1. Rune Pouch

The Rune Pouch is an OSRS item that fits both in the Combat and Skilling category. What makes it so important, you ask? Well, as the name suggests, the Rune Pouch is able to hold Runes in one inventory slot—specifically three Runes. This makes the pouch extremely useful since Runes are needed in Old School RuneScape in almost any activity. You can get a Rune Pouch by buying Tier 1 Emblems from the Grand Exchange and trade them for Bounty Hunter Points which can be used to purchase a Rune Pouch.

  1. The Arclight

The Arclight is one of the best combat items in OSRS. This is thanks to the huge increase it gives to your Accuracy and Damage whenever you fight any Demonic Creature. The Arclight is typically made using a combination of a Darklight and three Ancient Shards. The Ancient Shards can be found inside the Catacombs of Kourend and are typically dropped by the monsters that reside there. There’s really not a lot to say about this OSRS item that’s already been said before. All in all, it’s a great untradeable OSRS item worth making an effort to obtain because of how big of a boost it gives.

  1. Prospector Outfit

The Motherlode Mine is one of the most iconic places in OSRS. And how can it not be? It’s an area that doesn’t require you to have a quest whenever you want to enter it. It’s also a great place to mine ore and earn a ton of Runescape gold. This mine is a members-only Mining training area though, so this means that if you’re not paying the monthly subscription fee, then you won’t be able to get inside. What makes the Prospector Outfit important is that it’s a great Skilling outfit. While having only some of the Old School Runescape items on the set is fine, the outfit will give you an even bigger boost should you wear the whole thing.

And those are some of the best untradeable items in Old School RuneScape that can’t be bought with OSRS gold! While there are still a lot of OSRS items left to talk about, we think these are the ones that deserved to be on the spotlight. What do you make of this list? Are there any other RS items that you think should be added? Let us know your thoughts by leaving a comment or two below!

Why You Should Play Fortnite

Play Fortnite

Fortnite is still relevant to this day despite the stiff competition, and here are some of the reasons why it’s still worthy of being a part of your library of games.

You might’ve tried Fortnite when it was first released. We can’t blame you. It was, after all, the hottest thing at the time—and you can still argue that it is to this very day. The Battle Royale genre was still trying to find its place in the gaming community back then. Now, however, the market is oversaturated thanks to the abundance of similar games that have since been released. Tons of Fortnite tracker started popping up as well thanks to its popularity. While Fortnite didn’t invent the genre, it’s the game that really catapulted Battle Royale’s popularity to new levels.

Multiplayer online games aren’t rare these days, but most of the online competitive first-person and third-person shooting games at the time only consisted of two teams that duked it out on a certain map. Despite the stiff competition that Epic Games has, we think that Fortnite Battle Royale is still worthy of playing in 2020. Sure, the scene has shifted to the more tactical style of gameplay for online competitive FPS, but we really believe that Fortnite still has some tricks up its sleeve that can at least make you play and enjoy it just like in the old days.

  1. The Game Has Gotten Smaller

Fortnite has been making headlines lately because of how Epic Games has optimized the game to perfection; and by perfection, we mean smaller. Thanks to the recent updates and tweaks that were made by Epic, the PC version of Fortnite has shrunk down considerably. This is a great move as Fortnite had ballooned over the years. Just recently, it could easily take over 90GB of your hard drive disk space. The newest update, Patch 14.40, aimed to fix that. Besides the usual updates for the upcoming Fortnitemares 2020 and Fortnite trackers, it was surprising that Epic managed to trim the fat—and a lot of it at that! With the long-overdue tidying up done, Fortnite is now just under 30GB. Taking up less space on your PC gives you the luxury of having more room for other games that you might want to install. This is great if you’re looking to download bigger games such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare since it requires a ton of space. By being smaller and compact, you can download the game without having to worry about it taking up too much space on your computer. So hold off on buying that extra RAM or SSD card because it looks like you won’t be needing it, thanks to Epic trimming off the excess fat.

  1. Crazy Events to Remember

Epic Games always comes out on top when it comes to managing events. With Fortnitemares 2020 coming, you have the opportunity to dip your toes in the events you haven’t experienced in Fortnite. Since it is Halloween, you can expect decors around the map that fit the bill such as cobwebs and pumpkin heads. There’s also Halloween-exclusive weapons that you can try out for a limited time if you’re into that. Besides the celebration of certain seasons such as Halloween and Valentine’s Day, Fortnite also has in-game concerts! You read that right, you can experience a concert right in front of your computer. The recent concerts they did together with Marshmello, Travis Scott, and the ultra-popular K-Pop band BTS made headlines. No one has ever seen a game host a concert before—at least not as big as what Epic did for Fortnite. If you want to take part in these crazy events, playing Fortnite or even just visiting the game every now and then to see what’s new is the way to go!

3.       Play However You Want

Fortnite is a huge game that’s available to play on almost any platform. Sure, you can’t run it on your toaster, but hey! Doom managed to run through a hundred pounds of potatoes, so anything’s possible at this point. Kidding aside, Fortnite is available to play on PC, consoles, and mobile devices. If you love to play FPS games using a mouse and a keyboard, you can use your computer—even if it doesn’t have the greatest specs. On the other hand, if you’re a controller type of player, then you can simply play on your console. Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and even the next generation consoles all have Fortnite. It’s just a matter of choosing which console you want to go with. But let’s say you don’t have both of those things and you’re always on the go, then playing Fortnite on a mobile device is perfect for you! While the screen may be small and it’s harder to aim using the touch controls on your phone, there are phone gaming accessories that can help you better your experience. What’s more, Fortnite is free to download and play on both iOS and Android devices. Whichever way you choose to play Fortnite, all the options are available for you to seize—just pick which one is the best for you.

4.       Crossplay Enabled

It’s like beating a dead horse at this point, but we’re going to say it: Fortnite has crossplay. If you’re still living under a rock, crossplay means that you can play with your friends who are on different platforms. To give you an example, let’s say your friend is inviting you to play a match together but he/she is only using a mobile device while you’re on your desktop computer. You don’t have to worry about not being able to join, as Fortnite can be played with people on all platforms!

Epic Games always manages to find things to add worthy improvements to Fortnite to make it more spectacular. That alone makes the game worth trying out in 2020. It doesn’t have great graphics and a souped-up sound stage compared to more optimized games, but what it has are cool, over-the-top events, a compact form factor, and crossplay. Besides Fortnite trackers, what do you think will be added next in Fortnite given Epic’s reputation of releasing unique updates? Let us know by leaving a comment below!

Play Date A Live: Spirit Pledge on PC with Games.lol

Back on May 7th, 2020, while most of the countries in the world were on lockdown, Moonwalk Interactive Hong Kong Limited released the highly anticipated global version of Date A Live: Spirit Pledge. For those new to the title, Date A Live: Spirit Pledge is the official game of the popular Japanese light novel series of the same name. Date A Live: Spirit Pledge follows the same narrative seen in the light novels, which is a combination of action and dating activities.

If you are yet to explore the universe of Date A Live, but you’re only in for the game, read on as we tackle the main narrative of the game and what to expect in this ARPG/dating sim hybrid.

Spirit Pledge on PC with Games

What is Date A Live?

Date A Live follows the exploits of a teenager named Itsuka Shido, whose town was wrecked by a Spacequake on the last day of Spring. Spacequakes occur when an extraordinary bang from another dimension called “Spirit” crosses into our world. In the story, Shido happens to be in the area where his little sister, the commander of the organization who dealt with the Spirits, appeared. From there, he reluctantly joined the organization called Ratatoskr to save the world. But to do that, Shido must take the spirit on a romantic date to pacify him. In other words, dating will prevent the spirit from destroying the earth.

Based on the narrative itself, Date A Live is more than just a teen light novel with a weird title. Its story is a rollercoaster ride of action, adventure, and the iconic Japanese humor.

How Does Date A Live: Spirit Pledge Work?

The gameplay of Date A Live: Spirit Pledge works just like most free-to-play RPGs out there. What makes it unique is the integration of dating sim elements. The combination of ARPG and dating elements in Date A Live: Spirit Pledge may sound a bit off at first. But sooner or later, you will find that the combination of both genres works perfectly with each other as you advance further into the game. Contrary to what other players think, the dating sim elements embedded within the game’s core structure makes it even more engaging and immersive than other ARPG titles.

As much as we want to discuss the entire narrative and the specifics of the game, those are topics for another day.  What we are going to discuss now is the Date A Live: Spirit Pledge that you can download and play on your PC. The best part is you can access it for free using the Games.lol tool.
