Each one has its own strengths and weaknesses, so your tactics should fit what kinds of weapons you get or want to use. Early Circles

While there’s still a big space to play in and lots of players are still in the game, there are a few strategies you can use. If you wanna be all sneaky, finding a Suppressed Pistol would be your best bet. A silencer keeps other players from realizing where you are, and it works even better when they’re also fending off another player. You can’t be too far though, or the gun will lose its effectiveness.

When facing off with other players head-on, maybe it’s best to use the Compact SMG. Its low damage can be offset by its high fire rate, making its damage-dealing on par with stronger weapons. These usually also have relatively quick reloading times making it good for a firefight.

Sniping is also easier done when the circles are still big. That way, your targets have a long way to go before reaching you if you miss. Make sure you’re at a high place before sniping! The Bolt-Action Sniper is the best sniping gun, even with its slow reloads and 1-bullet magazine. For a faster, but slightly weaker alternative, the Semi-Automatic Sniper Rifle would do.

Late Circles

At this point, all the remaining players will be crammed into a progressively smaller space. With no distance to gain, some weapons work better in these situations than others. One of which is the Rocket Launcher, which can destroy bases and other players like they were nothing. At shorter distances, it's harder to avoid even with the slow projectile. However, that can still be countered by a Sniper Rifle and a faster reaction time.

Shotguns also make for a good late-game weapon. As long as the target doesn’t have shields, one solid hit with a shotgun can down them. They’re also very good in close ranges, which the storm pushes players into as time passes.

Depending on Range

All weapons have an effective range. Past their limit, weapons lose effectiveness. The guns with the longest ranges are Rocket Launchers and Sniper Rifles. Those with a long to mid-range are Assault Rifles, Bows, and the scoped Crossbow. Mid-range weapons are Grenade Launchers, Shotguns, SMGs, Pistols, and a few Crossbows. Lastly, in the melee range, of course, are the melee weapons.

Why Should You Know About This?

The best way to use a tool efficiently is to use it for its purpose. You can’t snipe with a shotgun, nor should you be able to gather resources with a gun. While it’s not impossible, using a Sniper Rifle in a close-range duel is more difficult than using a shotgun or any other gun, really. When something is more difficult, it’s easier to make mistakes that other players can capitalize on.

Using the right tool for the right job is the best way after all. Plus, with this knowledge, you can engineer situations where you can use the weapons you have right now. Otherwise, you can pick and choose which weapons are beneficial for your situation right now. You can also adjust your tactics and strategies as you decide which weapons to keep or discard.

If you have long-range weapons, it’s best to keep your distance from others. When far away and holding a shotgun, then you should be finding a way to get close to your opponent first. Maybe you shouldn’t be too close when using the Rocket Launcher since you can also get caught in the blast. These are small but important things to think about and notice.

This knowledge will help you step up your game, increasing your chances of getting that Victory Royale. Keep in mind that, like everything else, you need to practice to become better. If it’s not natural for you yet, keep on practicing until it becomes natural. Being frustrated and freezing up are natural reactions to practicing, and even pros aren’t immune to mistakes. How to Unlock Free Imposter Rewards in Fortnite

Introducing Fortnite Impostors - it is a mode of at least 10 players, which looks a lot like another very popular game, Among Us. Fortnite Impostor rewards are recently awarded wherein each of the player's teams works together to remove everybody or discover the stranger, or Imposter.

Getting points in Fortnite is about spending quality time with your family and friends after registering and login into your epic games Fortnite account on the Fortnite official website. As reported by Epic Games, a maximum of five million players can only participate in this Impostors Trials, therefore, it is a must you should move quickly if you are really fancy getting the free gears.

According to Fortnite Intel, Impostors is an Epic Games' twist for social deduction games which have become popular after the release of the Among Us. In the game mode, the players are expected to finish each task starting from revamping chests to rebuilding the battle bus and submitting the storm assessments for analysis. How to Join Impostor Trials

As claimed by Spieltimes, to join the Impostor Trials, every player should log in to their Epic Games Fortnite account on the special website for that event. It's easy to track the progress of everyone once they are logged in.

To earn the badges, the players should play the Fortnite Impostors repeatedly and get the badge as a reward. On that note, players are expected to play again and again a maximum of 20 times to get those valuable badges.

Upon getting the badges, finally, you can get the rewards depends on the number of badges you have won during the games. At this event, only 5 million players are allowed to partake. Once the 5 million is achieved the site challenge will be closed automatically to the new registration.

Rewards

As previously described, Fortnite players who are participating in the Imposter Trials will obtain a badge for each and every two games. These emblems or badges can be utilized to obtain an in-game bounty. Players who immediately log in to the special website will be awarded a Hot-Headed spray just as by playing 6 games of Impostors will earn twelve badges, which will be traded for the "Just Between Us" emoticon. Players who have played 22 games will get the eleven badges that can be traded for the Spectral Flex Wrap. After the hard-earned rewards are obtained, they will be dispatched directly to the player's Fortnite Item shop Box, wherein they can claim the prices to use them in-game. Fortnite Mobile truly brings the experience to life in such a portable device. Of course, some features might take a hit (such as graphics) and anyone unused to playing on mobile will have a difficult time. However, the point is that they were able to port a 26GB game (on PC) to about 3GB for mobile devices. That’s without having to cut out content for mobile!

Then again, what’s a little inconvenience when you can play whenever and wherever you are? You won’t have to miss scheduled team rounds with friends. There’s also the option of sitting around a table playing the game together when you meet up with them. No need to bring laptops or consoles, just your phone and yourself.

Why not try the game out and see for yourself why people raved about Fortnite BR? It’s all the content and features of the game in the palm of your hand. Despite the negative review of veterans, there’s still so much to enjoy about the game. Don’t let a few noisy critics ruin it for you. Play the game if you truly enjoy it. Fortnite is still relevant to this day despite the stiff competition, and here are some of the reasons why it’s still worthy of being a part of your library of games.

1. The Game Has Gotten Smaller

Fortnite has been making headlines lately because of how Epic Games has optimized the game to perfection; and by perfection, we mean smaller. Thanks to the recent updates and tweaks that were made by Epic, the PC version of Fortnite has shrunk down considerably. This is a great move as Fortnite had ballooned over the years. Just recently, it could easily take over 90GB of your hard drive disk space. The newest update, Patch 14.40, aimed to fix that. Besides the usual updates for the upcoming Fortnitemares 2020 and Fortnite trackers, it was surprising that Epic managed to trim the fat—and a lot of it at that! With the long-overdue tidying up done, Fortnite is now just under 30GB. Taking up less space on your PC gives you the luxury of having more room for other games that you might want to install. This is great if you’re looking to download bigger games such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare since it requires a ton of space. By being smaller and compact, you can download the game without having to worry about it taking up too much space on your computer. So hold off on buying that extra RAM or SSD card because it looks like you won’t be needing it, thanks to Epic trimming off the excess fat.

2. Crazy Events to Remember

Epic Games always comes out on top when it comes to managing events. With Fortnitemares 2020 coming, you have the opportunity to dip your toes in the events you haven’t experienced in Fortnite. Since it is Halloween, you can expect decors around the map that fit the bill such as cobwebs and pumpkin heads. There’s also Halloween-exclusive weapons that you can try out for a limited time if you’re into that. Besides the celebration of certain seasons such as Halloween and Valentine’s Day, Fortnite also has in-game concerts! You read that right, you can experience a concert right in front of your computer. The recent concerts they did together with Marshmello, Travis Scott, and the ultra-popular K-Pop band BTS made headlines. No one has ever seen a game host a concert before—at least not as big as what Epic did for Fortnite. If you want to take part in these crazy events, playing Fortnite or even just visiting the game every now and then to see what’s new is the way to go!

Fortnite is a huge game that’s available to play on almost any platform. Sure, you can’t run it on your toaster, but hey! Doom managed to run through a hundred pounds of potatoes, so anything’s possible at this point. Kidding aside, Fortnite is available to play on PC, consoles, and mobile devices. If you love to play FPS games using a mouse and a keyboard, you can use your computer—even if it doesn’t have the greatest specs. It’s just a matter of choosing which console you want to go with. A Speculation Roundup on Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2

Epic Games Fortnite has been stuck in the first season of its second chapter. Fortunately, it's almost time for the update. Aside from new Fortnite skins on the Fortnite items shop, what else can we expect? Here are some ideas and refreshers from all the teasers released for the launch of the newest season of Fortnite Battle Royale.

Bring the Bling

Gold has been a recurring theme for all the leaks. Random gold objects are appearing on the island in the center of the map. Then there's the leaked Fortnite skin called 'Oro' who is a skeleton made of gold. Even the leaked images have golden objects on a black background.

The random letters appearing on the various leaks are further strengthening this theory. Taking one of each letter spells out 'MIDAS' which can refer to the mythical king with the golden touch. Maybe it's him who's turning all these objects to gold? We’ll have to wait and see. Another interpretation of MIDAS can be 'Missile Defense Alarm System'. Both are possible connections.

At any rate, we can expect lots of gold in the next season. It's unknown what role it will play, but it's going to be significant.

Agent Meowsclesrepurrting for Duty

First seen in a Fortnite Season 7 loading screen, he comes back as a spectrograph image of the audio file 'AgentMeowscles'. There's also that time he was found in the source code by data miners. Then as the leaks and teasers for C2S2 build up, he appears again.

His image is accompanied by several flexing emojis and random phrases in various languages. A majority of those phrases translate into 'nine lives', though some of them say 'seven lives' instead. What happened to those two lives? We might find out upon launch.

Connecting Constellations

Some of the leaked images have these constellation-like images on the background. One user has connected them across the teaser images (the rocket, yarn ball, and Agent Meowscles ones). Another has matched one of the constellations to the coordinates from those real-world call teasers. However, it seems people aren't really focusing on them.

Examining Explosives

Many of the teasers have objects that explode. Among the objects shown are dynamite, a propane tank, a rocket, and this yarn ball with 'rat grenades' tangled in it. They bring to mind all the rockets and explosions that changed Chapter 1's map. Whatever this means, we can expect an explosive launch for Season 2.

What could the word 'agent' mean for the lore of the game? Is Agent Meowscles an important lead, or just 'cat-fishing' us? Will we see the return of Fortnite items such as dynamite? Are the 'film heroes and villains' from Season 4 real? What is the connection between Chaos Agent and the oil rig? Are we all just overthinking this?

We'll figure everything out once the update drops. Fortnite Chapter 2 Season 2's Fortnite release date is a few hours away, so you don't have to wait for too long. Chapter 2 Season 1 may have dragged a bit, but now we can finally move on.

Codename ELF

When you hear of Santa’s elves, the last thing that you’d think of is a grown, well-built man. That, however, is the case in Fortnite’s Codename ELF. It’s got the green traditional pointy hat and shirt, as well as those khaki pants, except it’s a lot more, for a lack of a better word, tactical. The heavy boots, swanky gloves, and neck warmer are rather contrasting to the usual elf image, but it works well!

Sgt. Green Clover

If you still want another green skin in Fortnite that’s based on a small fellow, then Sgt. Green Clover is for you. Rather than a dwarf or Santa’s little helper, this one, as the name suggests, is based on the leprechaun. Think of it as the female version of the Boston Celtics mascot, except she’s got a violet inner shirt and gloves.

True to the leprechaun’s Irish roots, the skin is a redhead–a common stereotype and misconception about the Irish. Anyway, it’s still a pretty cool and charming skin, not to mention affordable too. Get yours in the next St. Patrick’s Day for a few V-buck!

Bunny Brawler and Rabbit Raider

Maybe you’re not a fan of a holiday icon that involves mischief. Maybe you prefer something more wholesome and cute. If so, then the Bunny Brawler or the Rabbit Raider skin is for you. While an Easter Bunny motif isn’t exactly unique, some say it’s a strange poke to players’ habits of bunny-hopping in the game Fortnite.

Apart from the bunny suit, the skins, instead of having the entire feet covered by the suit, have bunny slippers. Redundant, but it helps with its charms.

Between the two suits, however, the Rabbit Raider is the one whose humor factor is more on-the-nose. Aside from the bunny suit being pink instead of white, it’s got a Jason mask that’s painted with whiskers and a nose!

Ginger Gunner

The Ginger Gunner is probably meant to be a sweet and somewhat nice skin, except that it turned out the exact opposite. This is unless the artist made it subtly creepy on purpose—which can also be the whole point of the skin if you think about it. Either way, this is one of the more interesting–and unsettling skins on Fortnite Battle Royale mode. Grab it next winter!

Aerobic Assassin and Mullet Marauder

Lame in a good way and very retro, the Aerobic Assassin is the kind of skin that you’d find funny right from the get-go. With such a unique, out-of-place vibe, it’s a great skin to wear in matches.

The male counterpart of the Aerobic Assassin, the Mullet Marauder shares the same color motif with the Aerobic Assassin, except it’s a tracksuit that’s more in the hue of blue than pink. There’s also tracksuit, shades, and a headband that holds the mullet together.

Both skins were available last August 2018 and haven’t been available on the Epic Games Store ever since. Will they be there again in the future? We’ll just have to see.

Dreamflower and Far Out Man

If the 80s aren’t retro enough for you, then go as far back as the sixties with the Dreamflower and Far Out Man skins. The former has your iconic hippie girl look, with that Bohemian blouse and leather cardigan with fringes, as well as a headband with a flower. On the other hand, the latter wears a psychedelic buttoned shirt, a peace sign necklace, and sports long hair and a mustache. Both don those usual small shades with circular lenses.
