Best Ways for Beginners to Earn OSRS Gold

Earn OSRS gold

One of the key features of Old School Runescape is how you can make OSRS Gold. To do this, there are many methods for you to choose from. Whilst there are some higher-level ways of turning a hefty profit, today we will be looking at some of the best ways to farm for gold for beginners.

The methods on this list will vary in how much Old School RS gold they will net you, but what's more important is that they are ways of farming gold with low-level requirements. This effectively means that you can gain access to them rather easily, though they can still pull in a decent profit. They may be more straightforward ways of farming OSRS gold, yet they will be easy for you to use from earlier stages than later methods.

1. Emerald Necklace Enchants - Level 2

This is a pretty self-explanatory method, to be honest. You will be required to purchase Emerald Necklaces form the Grand Exchange, before enchanting them and selling them on. However, to do this you will need to have level 27 Magic, level 2 Enchant Spell, as well as Air Runes and Cosmic Runes.

Once you are ready, you will want to check what the difference is between an Emerald Necklace and a Binging Necklace. After you have done this, you will get a better idea of just how much profit you can make. Thankfully, the necklaces that are required don't cost much to make, so you can make a large amount whilst gaining experience at the same time.

The margin ranges usually between 200 and 400, meaning that by making 1000 an hour you could net yourself 200,000 - 400,000 OSRS Gold per hour. That depends on if you can enchant this many within that time, and also what the margin is at the Grand Exchange.

2. Ultracompost

Ultracompost is the most valuable form of compost in OSRS, so naturally, it can turn a profit if used correctly. To do so, you are going to want to have unlocked Fossil Island, and have Level 22 Mining to get the best out of this method.

The requirements above should take you to Fossil Island, where you can mine Volcanic Ash. Once you have done so, you can then combine it with Supercompost, which can be bought from the Grand Exchange. By combining the two, you will then get Ultracompost. This can then be sold on the GE for profit, or you could simply purchase Volcanic Ash without having to go to Fossil Island. This way however will cost you more, though it will save you time from mining.

How much profit you make is decided on which way of selling gold Ultracompost you choose. If you have the Runescape gold to spend, then you could save a lot of time by simply buying the items at the GE, which will earn you 132 OSRS Gold for each Ultracompost sold. However, if you choose to farm the Volcanic Ash, you could earn double this amount. This could bring in profits of anywhere to 250,000 - 500,000 RS Gold per hour.

3. Elemental Staves

To take advantage of Elemental Staves, you will want to look into price comparisons of the available staff. Because there is a variety of prices, you can use this to make a profit. Before doing so, it strongly recommended that you have a Teleportation Ring to speed up the process. You will also be required to be at Construction Level 42.

First off, you will want to build a house. Then, head out and purchase the cheapest staves before heading back to your home. In your house, you will then want to build a Crystal Ball, and convert your stacked staves that you bought earlier. You can then sell these at the GE, though there are a few variables in terms of how much profit you will actually make.

This ultimately depends on the price difference between the staves. Depending on your travel situation, and the price differences at the Grand Exchange, you can earn anywhere from 375,000 to 700,000 RS3 Gold per hour.

 4. Javelins

The practice of using Javelins to earn Runescape gold differs slightly from the other methods. Here, you will want to find a certain NPC to give you a better price on them. Firstly, you will want to head to the Grand Exchange. Here, you should purchase plenty of Adamant and Rune Javelins. From here, head over to the Void Knight's Outpost.

Once you have arrived, go to the Void Knights Squire NPC, and sell up to 100 Javelins to them. You are going to want to change worlds after this and repeat since the buying OSRS price does eventually decrease. The profit is decided on how many Javelins are for sale at the GE, and how fast you can sell them. Typically per hour, you should be looking to make 400,000 - 1,000,000 Old School RS Gold.

5. Death Runes

Purchasing Death Runes from the Mage of Zamorak is the highest profitable method of farming OSRS gold with low-level requirements. You are going to need some gold upfront, however, though the more you have the more profit you are looking to make. The Abyss OSRS quest will also need to have been finished before you try this. Heading to the Mage isn't without its dangers either, so be sure to stack up on health items before you do so.

Head over to the Mage, who can be found at the Altar of Zamrok, and the Souther Wilderness mining site. You should then purchase Death Runes from the Mage, then head back to the GE to sell them. Like with the previous method, changing worlds and repeating the process will bag you a lot more profit, though keep in mind you will need to make sure that you have enough OldSchool Runescape gold to do so.

You can buy up to 250 of the Death Runes, which are priced at 195 gold. These then sell on the GE for 220 gold. If you purchase 250 Runes on 100 worlds, this will increase to 625 gold. This depends on the GE price of gold, which is sometimes all the way up to 275 gold in a single world. If that's the case, then you could make up to 2,000,000 gold per hour, assuming that is where the price of Death Runes is at.

These five methods are a great way for beginners to farm or buy OSRS Gold. There are more profitable measures that have higher level requirements, but for the time being you can use these five ways to net yourself a lot of profit from a relatively early stage.

Have you tried these methods in OSRS? Let us know in the comments section below!

Life Begins at 60: Things to Do in WoW Classic at Max Level

WoW Classic Level 60

WoW Classic is all about bringing the game back to its 2004 state. That means a time before easy WoW Classic level boosts so new players or long-time players with new characters can just skip the grind. In turn, that means the road to reach level 60 is going to be a challenge again.

To give those who are either completely new to World of Warcraft or have forgotten the perks of getting to hit level 60 a bit of motivation, here are the content and activities you should do when you reach that level cap.

From WoW Classic Adventurer to Fighter

You can choose not to engage in PVP throughout your entire career as an adventurer in Azeroth, but where’s the fun in that? After all, it’s natural for gamers to get competitive, and even those that prefer PVE over PVP get that urge once in a while.

And while you can start duking it out with other players as early as your late twenties, you won’t reach latter ranks unless you’re capped. As for World PVP, it’s generally safer to be at level 60 in WOW when you do. Plus, it’s sadistically funny to take out players that are ten levels below you or even half your level.

If the fun and competitiveness aren’t good enough for you to get hooked to this kind of content, then maybe the rewards will. From PVP trinkets to Epic weapons, you’ll definitely want to get your hands on these. Trust us, they’re worth killing for.

Perfect, This Mount in WoW Classic

For a lot of players, collecting mounts is a popular endeavor. And while you can do this quite early on, you won’t get to access much content until you’re at level 60 in WoW Classic. That aside, a lot of them can only be used at that level as well anyway. That’s why the perfect time to spend much time getting rides is once you’re level-capped.

The best place to start with Epic mounts is those you can buy with WoW Classic Gold. Save for the Undead, which only has two, each race has three mounts. There’s a different kind o steed for every race, so hopefully, you like it.

If they’re not exactly what you want your ride or die to be, then there are always those that are dropped by bosses. Lots of them are dropped by bosses, and you won’t even be able to encounter them in the first place if you’re under-leveled, so you still need to be at level 60 in Classic WOW anyway.

Good examples of these would be the Swift Razzashi Raptor, the Swift Zulian Tiger, and last but definitely not least, the fabled Deathcharger. And if you’re part of the Alliance, why not get your hands on the Winterspring Frostsaber? It’s a cool cat that will get you feeling like the Priestess of the Moon, especially if you’re a Night Elf.

Time for Mastery

To some people, getting to level 60 in World of Warcraft Classic means they’re finally done with the “boring” kind of grinding, and that it’s time to move on to raids and other equally exciting content. But to some, this is the perfect time to take care of the last few areas that are better off perfected: spell and ability ranks.

While a lot of warcraft classic players manage anyway without getting them maxed, it’s better that you do. And once you have, it’s time to check your rotations once again, as many of their cast times and cooldowns have likely changed. If they did, then your rotations will have to be adjusted.

All of these are just the tip of the iceberg, or rather, the Frozen Throne. There are lots of other things you can do at level 60 in Classic WoW. Nevertheless, these are the best things to start with once you get to the top. So if you didn't reach the level cap, about time you do.

Where to Salute Deadpool's Pants in Fortnite

Fortnite Deadpool pants
CREDIT: EPIC GAMES

And where to find his shorts as well

Everybody thought the Merc in the Mask challenges ended with the Yacht Party. However, Week 9 challenges proved them wrong. Turns out, our favorite mercenary of chaos is in a heap of laundry trouble. His hideout had been flooding for a while now, and he's running out of clothes. Players are tasked to find and salute Deadpool's pants, wherever they may be. Also, they have to find his shorts as well, due to the mentioned laundry problem.

The reward for completing these challenges is the X-Force Fortnite items skin. That's an alternate color scheme for the Deadpool skin. From red and black, the X-Force skin makes it black and white. That makes it resemble the merc's costume when he joined the eponymous team.

Without further ado, here are the locations of Deadpool's pants, as well as his shorts!

Deadpool Pants Locations

The first discovered location is the top of Hotel 23 in Sweaty Sands. On the roof of the tallest building in the resort, you'll find the pants tied to a flagpole and fluttering in the breeze. Walk up to it and do the salute emote, and you're done!

If you don't have the emote because you missed the chance to get it, clicking on the prompt that appears should make you do the emote. So don't worry and salute those pants.

Now, there are alternative places where you can find these pants. Say the storm already covered Sweaty Sands, you can still do the challenge at these other places.

C6 - Slurp Keg on the roof of the factory at Slurpy Swamp

E4: On the roof of The Agency

H1: Right in front of the Yacht

H4: Roof of the biggest warehouse in Dirty Docks

G7: At the summit of Mount Kay

Explore the island because there may be other undiscovered locations as well!

Where Are His Shorts?

You don't have to scour the whole island for the shorts. They're not there. What you need to do is visit Midas in the Agent's menu. You'll find Deadpool's shorts draped on the armchair that's behind the agent. Yup, his shorts are in the main menu, and not in the Battle Royale island. Tricky, isn't it?

Enjoy Your X-Force Skin!

Completing these two challenges should unlock the X-Force Fortnite items alternate coloration of the Deadpool skin. They're not likely to be available in the Fortnite item shop later, so take the opportunity to grab it! These challenges make it easy to wonder why Deadpool didn't just string up some lines to hang his laundry on. For that matter, why were his shorts in Midas's room?

As you ponder on the scandalous nature of that last question, continue enjoying Fortnite! This time of quarantines and lockdowns is hard on all of us, even to game developers. We'll get through this, and hopefully, we'll get back the earlier quality of updates we've had.

Until then, have fun. Stay at home, stay safe, and wash your hands frequently.

Start Your OSRS Mobile the Right Way

OSRS Mobile gamingtipsandguides

How to get started playing OSRS Mobile

Take your Gielinor adventures anywhere (within your home) with OSRS Mobile. Here's what you need to prepare for installation, as well as some worthwhile beginner activities to do. Have fun adventuring, skilling, leveling, or farming OSRS gold!

Device Requirements

The OSRS Mobile app requires Android 5 and above or iOS 10 and above. Its store page requires 6.7MB on Android devices and 118MB on Apple ones. However, free up at least 1 or 2 GB on your device storage, as the app may download additional files upon first opening it.

Generally, a majority of the current-gen phones will be enough to play the app. Some at the lower end may have a little trouble. Lowering or changing the settings of the game will make it smoother on those. Since the app is optimized for phones, it may not work as well for tablets. Sometimes it may not appear in the app stores of that device.

The game has an FAQ that lists the devices that have a problem with running the game. Please check it to see if your device is on the list.

Some Settings to Set

Get the most out of your device's battery life by using or changing these settings.

Lower your phone screen's brightness. It's one of the biggest drains on the battery charge. If you don't have to look so much or see what's happening in the game, dim it to prolong your phone's life.

Close apps running in the background. Even if you've pressed the home button, apps don't close. If they don't close, they're still using up the battery charge. Exit them by using the task manager to close them completely.

Use a battery saving mode. This is a setting most newer phones have. They optimize battery usage by restricting some apps from running in the background. It also manipulates some settings that eat up the battery.

Turn off the network setting you're not using. If you're using WiFi, turn off data. If you're using data, turn off WiFi. They use up charges by searching for a signal. Turn them off to keep them from leeching power from the battery.

Starting the Game

Now that you've downloaded the game, it's time to play! There are many things to do in Gielinor. But first, you should choose what you want to do. Certain servers (also called worlds) have special restrictions to challenge their players. Some are members only, others are PvP worlds, and a special few are for annual/seasonal game modes.

At any rate, whichever world you choose, you'll start out in Tutorial Island. Create your character avatar carefully, since it can be costly to change later. An NPC on the island called Paul can give restrictions on your account if you choose to.

Choosing to do so is choosing the 'Ironman Mode' where you cannot trade with other players or use the Grand Exchange. Some might choose to go a step further (Ultimate Ironman) and choose to restrict banking. Another variation, Hardcore Ironman, is when players only have one life. If they die, they get booted to Standard Ironman.

If you mistakenly or accidentally imposed those restrictions on yourself, talk to Adam in Lumbridge. He'll let you downgrade to an easier mode of play, albeit with a 7-day delay.

Other than that, you have the freedom to choose what to do! You can explore Gielinor, complete quests, challenge others in PvP, hunt all kinds of monsters, or choose calmer pursuits. Examples of calmer pursuits are farming, mixing potions, crafting or constructing things, and even fishing! Get used to the basics, and soon you can start farming OSRS gold. It'll open more doors as you gain more, from allowing you to buy better equipment to buying bonds.

The world of Gielinor is open, all you have to do is enter it. Have fun!
