Apex Legends is
the kind of game that’s easy to pick up but difficult to
master. Some have even been playing for months already yet still haven’t managed
to grasp the more subtle tricks & skills necessary for higher-level play.
Such things are essential if you want to earn more Apex Legend Currency.
If you happen to be among those who are a bit slow to grasp the game’s subtle nuances,
don’t worry! It’s never too late to learn. So why don’t you read these tips so
you can raise your game to the next level?
Choosing Where to
Land
First things first–we’re making that literal by teaching you
how to land faster and glide further! This is important, as an early lead can
give you an advantage; it’s a determining factor that affects whether or not
you’ll perform well mid-game or not. And if you’re the Jump Master, this is something vital for you to learn. Here’s how
to do this, step by step:
·
Aim straight until your speed is at 140-145
·
Tilt character upwards to slow down
·
Aim straight again until your speed is at
140-145
·
Rinse and repeat until you’re finally able to
land to the spot you want
This is a must if you’re aiming for a hot zone, a high-tier
zone, or even a zone that’s pretty far from all the action, as it’s virtually impossible
to land on your chosen spot if you’re going to rely solely on regular glide
speed.
Keep in mind that actually doing this is much harder than it
sounds. For this, you’re going to need lots and lots of patience—and an ample
amount of practice won’t hurt either. To get the former, you need to pounce on
every opportunity you can to be a Jump
Master. If you’re lucky enough to be assigned as one, don’t give it up to
your teammates! If nobody wants to be one, volunteer! And if you’re playing
with friends, don’t be shy to ask them to relegate it to you! Practice will
make perfect, and locking this skill down this will ultimately help you and
your teammates win. And the more wins you have, the higher your account’s value
on the Apex
Legend Calculator will be!
Might as Well
Bunny-Hop
One of the first things that you should learn is to bunny
hop as it makes you less likely to get hit compared to simply just running
around the map. To do this, you need to run for 2 seconds, and once you’re at top speed, you need to jump. To make it
even more elusive, you need to add alternating directions to your bunny hops.
It’s easy: while mid-jump, swing your mouse to the right while pressing D at
the same time. When you touch the ground, jump again and this time around swing
your mouse to left while pressing A. Keep repeating until there is no longer
any need to do so.
To make bunny hopping a lot easier, you can assign theUp or Down Mouse Wheel for the jump so that you’ll no longer need to
coordinate your spacebar presses with mouse-swinging. And on top of all this, you
can actually heal while bunny-hopping. While it’s more preferable to find cover
and heal while safe from enemy fire, it’s actually a good maneuver when you
don’t have no other recourse.
Switch and Fire
Another important technique you need to learn is switching from
weapon to weapon on the fly, even when in the midst of a firefight. It’s really
simple: just switch to your second weapon while firing your first, and then
press the crouch button twice to crouch and stand up in quick succession, then
shoot with your second weapon. You can even do this while one of your guns is
almost out of ammo.
These are just some of the intermediate techniques you need
to learn in Apex Legends in order to be among the top tier players. Lots of
other tricks of the trade are still out there, and they’re no less important
than the ones we’ve discussed. So what are you waiting for? Either you look for
them now or start practicing those you’ve learned already!
