What Are the Top 5 Games Coming Out in 2020?

Gamers have been left giddy with excitement as they contemplate the sheer volume of exciting new releases due to hit shelves in 2020. Visitors to this summer’s E3 event were offered glimpses of a dazzling array of new games that are slated for release next year, including eagerly anticipated sequels, reboots, and Keanu Reeves. Here are the top five titles to look forward to in 2020:

Cyberpunk 2077

The crowd at E3 went absolutely ballistic when Keanu Reeves appeared on stage to promote this exciting open-world RPG from CD Projekt RED. The Hollywood superstar plays Johnny Silverhand, a legendary Rockerboy cum digital ghost that lives in the head of the protagonist, V. You can fully customize your hero’s gender, appearance, attributes and more, while Keanu will be on hand to guide you along the way.

It takes place in the sprawling Night City, located in the Free Republic of California. Gamers can look forward to a lot of first-person shooting, third-person driving, and gorgeous cut scenes, while there is a massive world to explore. The onus is on the team at CD Projekt RED to make every part of the city impeccable, but the studio has excelled on The Witcher series.

This game will be more adult and foul-mouthed, featuring plenty of nudity, but it turns out you can actually finish it without killing anyone, should you so desire. Details of the game were first unveiled in 2012, so fans will have been waiting eight years to get their hands on Cyberpunk 2077 by the time it is released next year. We hope it will prove to be worth the weight.

Marvel’s Avengers

Marvel’s Avengers series has dominated the film industry over the past eight years and it is now preparing to conquer the gaming world. Marvel’s Spider-Man, a PS4 exclusive launched last year, was a brilliant game, lauded by critics and beloved by legions of gamers. The firm will hope to score an even bigger win by bringing its outrageously popular Avengers ensemble to the gaming arena.

There is no exclusive this time around, and it will launch on the PS4, Xbox One and PC on May 15, 2020. It is developed Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal and published by Square, although Marvel will take a hefty cut. Its story begins on A-Day, with the Avengers partying at their new HQ in San Francisco, before a calamitous event leaves the city in ruin. Earth’s mightiest heroes must unite in a bid to save the world from destruction.

There will be a multiplayer component alongside a single-player campaign, allowing teams of four to battle together in a number of new scenarios. Initial glimpses of the game have been a little underwhelming, but Crystal Dynamic has talked a great talk, and if it can walk the walk then we will be in for a veritable marvel. Either way, it is sure to shift millions of units due to the sheer popularity of the series.

Halo Infinite

This could well be the most enthusiastically anticipated game of 2020. Not only is there a new Halo coming out, but it is also the launch game for the next-gen Xbox console. Microsoft’s latest console currently goes by the name of Project Scarlett and it has promised a release date of “Holiday 2020”. Halo Infinite will be the sixth main entry in the iconic series, continuing the story of the Master Chief.

The team has promised to tell a much more human story than Halo 5: Guardians, and split-screen multiplayer will be reinstated by popular demand. Developer 343 Industries has referred to it as a spiritual reboot, which sounds like an attempt to recapture the magic of Halo 3. However, it takes place later in the chronology than the previous installments, and it also has a more open-world approach than ever before, massively scaling up the gameplay.

The FPS genre is dominated by CS:GO, Call of Duty and Overwatch right now, as you can see here, but Halo: Infinite could well muscle its way into contention. The new Xbox is designed to bring PC gaming into the living room, and Halo: Infinite could end up becoming a major esport if 343 gets it right.

The Last of Us Part II

The Last of Us is widely considered to be one of the greatest games of all time. It featured a smuggler called Joel trying to escort teenager Ellie through a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by cannibals and mercenaries. Gamers loved the narrative, the graphics, the combat mechanism, the stealth aspect, and the brooding atmosphere, and it shifted almost 20 million units.

The Last of Us Part II is, therefore, one of the most keenly awaited games ever. It featured an older Ellie, who is now playable and enjoying a blossoming romance with a new girl called Dina while trying to survive. It should be in safe hands with Naughty Dog, and it has the potential to be excellent.

The survival horror RPG genre is flourishing right now and gamers can also look forward to Dying Light 2 – a zombie game featuring Parkour mechanics – among others, but The Last of Us Part II should dominate when it is launched.

Watch Dogs Legion

Honourable mentions must go to Elden Ring and the Final Fantasy 7 remake, but we have opted for an intriguing new title to round off our list. It will be the third installment in the award-winning Watch Dogs series, developed by Ubisoft, and it will take gamers to a dystopian, post-Brexit London. Every single character in the game is a potential protagonist for you to recruit to your cause, and each comes with his or her own skills and traits, including enforcers, infiltrators, and hackers. Like Cyberpunk 2077, there will be non-lethal weapons for anyone not down with killing.

The game will be released for PC, Xbox One and PS4 on March 6, and it is sure to prove popular due to its ambition. The single-player mode will have five main storylines and more than 60 missions, while multiplayer will return for Legion. The second game in the series was a lot better than the first, and if the upward trend continues then Watch Dogs Legion could be brilliant. The visuals released look really exciting, and it is definitely one to look out for in 2020.

FFXIV: Which Magic Ranged DPS Class Should You Choose?

So you want to try out a magic DPS class in Final Fantasy XIV.  Currently, there are three, the Black MageSummoner, and Red Mage. All three have their own inherent pros and cons, as with any other class in the game. Hopefully, after reading this article, you will be able to better gauge both sides of the equation and be able to decide which one will work best for you.

FFXIV Gil costs can be mitigated by crafting equipment for the new classes. Since they are magic types, their armor is cloth. Black mages use staves, Summoners use books, and Red Mages use rapiers. Here are the pros and cons of each class.

Black Mage

The Black Mage has the highest DPS of the three, with the caveat of lowered mobility. It makes use of ‘Ley Lines' which lower cast and recast time, as well as auto-attack delay. A skill can let it teleport to either an ally's position or another Ley Line circle. Mana isn't a problem either as it technically has infinite mana.

It cycles through two phases, Astral Fire and Umbral Ice. The former is more DPS focused. The latter lets the mage regain mana and supports allies without sacrificing damage-dealing capabilities. Positioning Ley Lines as well as activating the unique class buff makes the Black Mage a veritable weapon of mass destruction.

However, since positioning is important in playing one, it's better for more experienced players. A beginner wouldn't exactly know the advantageous areas to place Ley Lines in. It also does not have raid utility, such as a team-wide buff. Some players call it a ‘selfish' class to play, as they can only deal damage to the enemy.

Summoner

Summoner's skills revolve around being supported by Egi, beast-like creatures that represent certain elements. Garuda-Egi is wind, Ifrit-Egiis fire, and Titan-Egi is earth. In order, they fill the caster, attacker, and tank roles respectively. As the Summoner gets stronger, they will be able to summon either the Demi-Bahamut or Demi-Phoenixwith time.

The Summoner has a high DPS but is a little less than Black Mages. Its skills apply damage over time, and can even make the DoT effect spread to other enemies. That makes it the strongest area-of-effect damager in the game. It doesn't have the Black Mage's immobility and doesn't rely on positioning as much. Lastly, it has ‘Devotion', a skill that will raise its (as well as its allies’) damage dealt by 5%.

As for disadvantages, filling the requirement to summon Demi-Bahamut or Demi-Phoenix takes quite some time. Some players don't like that. Controlling pets also feel clunky at times. Finally, the Summoner has a somewhat lackluster healing skill.

Red Mage

Red Mages use both Black and White Magic. Certain actions raise either color mana. Skill effects depend on how much there is and what type is favored. For example, Riposte will become Enhanced Riposte when both mana points are over 30. Favoring one mana type will allow the mage to cast either Verflareor Verholy.

Of the three DPS mage-classes, Red Mages are the most straightforward and beginner-friendly. This is a good class to start with, as it requires little research for a build. They're very mobile with good raid utility. Their healing skill is also top-notch as a targeted cure spell.

However, they have the lowest DPS of the three. As you play and learn the flow of fights, Verraise's value dips lower and lower. Embolden, their team-wide buff, has a very narrow use. It boosts their magic and the physical damage of their allies. To maximize it, Red Mages need to be close to their allies.

Playing Red Mage is a dance, and is pretty reliant on RNG. It's a very active class for a mage. That being said, if you'd rather wait for casts to finish, you're better off playing Black Mage.

And that's it for the three magic-slinging classes of Final Fantasy XIV. Any of them will guarantee success in your endeavors, whether FFXIV currency farming, raiding, or questing. Of course, the one that will be most effective for you depends on your preference.

Continue enjoying Final Fantasy XIV!

Apex Legends: What’s New in Season Two?

On July 2, 2019, Respawn Entertainment officially released everything there is for players to look forward to inApex Legends’ eagerly anticipated 2nd season. Tons of streamers and popular content creators are sponsored to play the game these days. As a result, the audience for Apex Legends has become even wider. The game’s just plain good. With the launch of the second seasonal battle pass, new changes to the map, and a new Legend to work with(should you purchase her with Apex Legends currency), the battle royale shooter is as alive right now more than it has ever been. In fact, there are even leaks now of the next upcoming Legend! We’ll talk about all that, our Apex Account Calculator, and more with our update for everything Apex Legends has to offer at the moment.

The Redemption Arc: Mozambique’s Return?!

The Mozambique shotgun was the worst gun in the game by far. With the downright disgusting recoil and pathetic damage output, it’s not surprising that it isn’t players’ first, second, or even third choice of weapon. But change has finally come to King’s Canyon and it’s Mozambique’s time to shine. Would you believe that this once-infamous shotgun is now actually worth holding onto? It sounds absurd, but the release of the second season for the game made it happen.

The Mozambique’s improvement is all thanks to the addition of a new gun attachment called the Hammerpoint. The Hammerpoint is an attachment that does additional damage to enemies who don’t have a shield, and it’s compatible with Mozambique. It’s a nasty combination, as it enables you to finish off enemies rather easily. The Mozambique’s stats haven’t changed, however, so you’ll need the Hammerpoint to make the gun worth your while. Luckily, the attachment is found randomly around the map and it’s not hard to find. So the next time you play Apex Legends, grab a Mozambique and see what it can do. You’ll be surprised that the gameplay videos of players annihilating players with the gun paired with the attachment is all too real!

Apex Legends’ Ranked Mode: The Key to Keep the Fire Burning

Perhaps the most crucial addition to Apex Legends is the implementation of a ranked mode. This new mode is split into six tiers, with each ranked tier further split up into four sub-tiers. This will undoubtedly be the “Lifeline” of the game moving forward. This mode will keep Apex Legends engaging, especially for competitive players, fps streamers, and aspiring pros that will likely form the future of this e-sports scene. The ranked mode rewards you with your time, and the progression will feel less oppressive compared to other games like Counter-Strike or Destiny 2.

Since Apex Legends is a Battle Royale game, you don’t need to win every single match to rank up; that’ll be too difficult. The game borrows the concept of Fortnite’s ranked mode, where you just need to have high placements which will, in turn, earn you a specific number of points. However, the comparison ends there. As you climb up the ranks, the requirements will be increasingly demanding. What’s more, Respawnhas implemented an entrance fee system that’ll force you to spend your points to enter matches in higher-tiered ranks. This is a unique take on an otherwise run-of-the-mill ranking system where you just earn and lose points depending on your performance.

Creatures and A New Legend Appears!

Enemies aren’t the only ones you need to worry about, as now there are large-scale monsters that roam around King’s Canyon. Oh, but don’t worry, they won’t disturb you! These include the Leviathan beasts that bop around the water just outside the island’s edges. There are also dragons secluded in cages, as well other reptiles to see.

It’s basically old news now, but Wattson is now officially part of the squad. She was first revealed at E3 earlier last month, and we have since come to know all about her lore and kit. Wattson, known as the Static Defender, is a builder that can destroy incoming missiles, recharge shields, and uses a pylon. Her abilities will literally shock you as they are all electric-based. Wattson is not a free-to-play Legend, so you’ll have to shell out some Apex Legends currency to get her. If you’ve got time to spare, check out our Apex Account Calculator to know exactly how much your account is worth!

SEMI-BASIC: APEX LEGENDS TIPS & TRICKS

Apex Legends is the kind of game that’s easy to pick up but difficult to master. Some have even been playing for months already yet still haven’t managed to grasp the more subtle tricks & skills necessary for higher-level play. Such things are essential if you want to earn more Apex Legend Currency. If you happen to be among those who are a bit slow to grasp the game’s subtle nuances, don’t worry! It’s never too late to learn. So why don’t you read these tips so you can raise your game to the next level?

Choosing Where to Land

First things first–we’re making that literal by teaching you how to land faster and glide further! This is important, as an early lead can give you an advantage; it’s a determining factor that affects whether or not you’ll perform well mid-game or not. And if you’re the Jump Master, this is something vital for you to learn. Here’s how to do this, step by step:
·         Aim straight until your speed is at 140-145

·         Tilt character upwards to slow down
·         Aim straight again until your speed is at 140-145
·         Rinse and repeat until you’re finally able to land to the spot you want

This is a must if you’re aiming for a hot zone, a high-tier zone, or even a zone that’s pretty far from all the action, as it’s virtually impossible to land on your chosen spot if you’re going to rely solely on regular glide speed.

Keep in mind that actually doing this is much harder than it sounds. For this, you’re going to need lots and lots of patience—and an ample amount of practice won’t hurt either. To get the former, you need to pounce on every opportunity you can to be a Jump Master. If you’re lucky enough to be assigned as one, don’t give it up to your teammates! If nobody wants to be one, volunteer! And if you’re playing with friends, don’t be shy to ask them to relegate it to you! Practice will make perfect, and locking this skill down this will ultimately help you and your teammates win. And the more wins you have, the higher your account’s value on the Apex Legend Calculator will be!

Might as Well Bunny-Hop

One of the first things that you should learn is to bunny hop as it makes you less likely to get hit compared to simply just running around the map. To do this, you need to run for 2 seconds, and once you’re at top speed, you need to jump. To make it even more elusive, you need to add alternating directions to your bunny hops. It’s easy: while mid-jump, swing your mouse to the right while pressing D at the same time. When you touch the ground, jump again and this time around swing your mouse to left while pressing A. Keep repeating until there is no longer any need to do so.

To make bunny hopping a lot easier, you can assign theUp or Down Mouse Wheel for the jump so that you’ll no longer need to coordinate your spacebar presses with mouse-swinging. And on top of all this, you can actually heal while bunny-hopping. While it’s more preferable to find cover and heal while safe from enemy fire, it’s actually a good maneuver when you don’t have no other recourse.

Switch and Fire

Another important technique you need to learn is switching from weapon to weapon on the fly, even when in the midst of a firefight. It’s really simple: just switch to your second weapon while firing your first, and then press the crouch button twice to crouch and stand up in quick succession, then shoot with your second weapon. You can even do this while one of your guns is almost out of ammo.

These are just some of the intermediate techniques you need to learn in Apex Legends in order to be among the top tier players. Lots of other tricks of the trade are still out there, and they’re no less important than the ones we’ve discussed. So what are you waiting for? Either you look for them now or start practicing those you’ve learned already!
