Escape from Tarkov Bitcoin Guide

Besides your Roubles, which is the common currency in EscapeFrom Tarkov, Escape from Tarkov bitcoin or BTC for short is widely known in the EFT community for getting you loads of exclusive items. However, not many know exactly where to find this highly valuable yet elusive currency. Escape from Tarkov is just like any other online game where the more money you have, the better gear you'll get, making things like quests much easier than usual. With our bitcoin (BTC) guide, you can find as much of the crypto-currency you need in a speedy and efficient manner.

What exactly is Bitcoin?

Bitcoins or BTCs for short are Escape from Tarkov items that are considered to be the equivalent of today’s crypto-currency. It is often used to buy certain weapons, armor, and items from the traders like the Mechanic, Skier, and many more. They are also considered rare among the types of currency that the game has due to the fact that you can sometimes go on multiple runs and yet not be able to encounter them. Bitcoins are only found in small quantities, making the hunt for them even more difficult. They are oftentimes well-hidden, so it’s important to check every nook and cranny if your goal is to farm Bitcoins straight up.

Since Bitcoins fall under the rare item category, you can expect to get a hefty amount of Roubles when selling it. If you don’t really care for Roubles all that much, you can simply trade it with powerful weapons, armor, or even essential items that can really help you out when you’re in a tight bind.

Where Do I Farm Bitcoins?

Imagine this. You’ve been grinding all day long, doing runs repeatedly, and have looted practically every room and safe there is on the map. The sun is beginning to rise and you‘ve still have had no luck finding any Bitcoins at all. In such situations, it’s safe to say you’ve wasted your whole day away! In order to find a slew of this valuable crypto-currency, we recommend you go to the Shoreline. It is considered to be the largest map in all of Escape from Tarkov. The place is filled with lots of tall buildings, each littered with a reasonable amount of BTC just waiting to be found. However, you will need some keys in order to open some rooms in the buildings. Most likely, the Bitcoins can be found behind these locked doors since they’re basically only exclusive to people who have a large number of keys.

Compared to the other maps that the game has, the Shoreline is probably your best bet when it comes to finding Bitcoins. While you will need to a key to get inside, room 310 on the East Side is notably the best spot in the map. Go to the trailer park on the red customs office, from there, there’s a lone bus from which you can get the key to enter room 310. Room 222 on the East side also has some bitcoins for you to get, as well as Room 220 along the back. In general, all of these rooms have BTC in them and the East Resort has some of the rarest items you can find within the map, but you’ll need keys to get inside.

Other Alternatives to Get Bitcoins

Besides rooms, safes are a good alternative to get Escape from Tarkov Bitcoins since you’re sure to find something valuable in them. Like for example, there is a safe that can be found in the Factory on the 3rd floor inside the office. While you’re not sure to get Bitcoins there, there is a high chance of spawning it. If not, at least you’ll be getting some valuable Escape from Tarkov items anyway.
